There will likely be armed assaults in future rallys because no one can contain themselves from projecting their stupid opinion.
Considering that there are more voters than there were in the past years, voting will be very competitive next election.
There will be another Hillary vs Trump match causing high tension again
If you're going out to vote in 2020, stay safe and stay protected. My theory suggests that there will be cases of bad things going on. |

| You do know that the two party system will probs be done away with. The only reason that Trump won is the same reason brexit was a thing. THERE IS NO ONE TO VOTE FOR. |

| The two party system will still be a thing no matter how many people want change. No one is smart enough to think other than left or right. |

Are you insulting me? I happen to be a libertarian, I vote for the premise of change.
The parties are too polarized, do you even know how many people voted 3rd party. |

"that'll just secure his 2nd term"
That won't happen. Trump can't do a good job, if he says one good thing the never trumpers will always think that he did a bad thing. |

| The two party system can never change. It's either someone with a different mindset joins Democrat or Republican, or lose the race as an Independent. |

Because everyone expects him to do a botch job, it doesn't matter if he doesn't or does. The fact is there are riots, or was don't really care, people want to think he is going to fudge up and that is what they are going to see.
No matter how many questionable air strikes or drone strikes or NSA spying Obama done the vast majority thinks of him as the best thing ever. Even though he is a war criminal. Until the anti-media changes to reporting the news which will never happen people will never know what really going on. |

"The two party system can never change."
Why is that? If people never questioned what can and cannot be done we would have never been to the moon.
The only thing is that the people in power enjoy the two party system because it cause excitement and keeps us in the dark. They would never change the system that got them in power to begin with, ALTHOUGH Trump might change the system because he has the no ducks given mentality. |

With our current system, the bipartisan nature of our politics will never go away. All that will change will be what the two parties are and what they believe.
If we switched to instant-runoff, we could have more than two parties. |

The thing is it will change. Why are you so scared of change, Dan?
More people Voted for my man Gary Johnson then they did in 2012, even less people voted L in 2008.
If it wasn't so hard to get on the ballet or on the debates OR even to have the money to run.
"Trump won't change it he will ride it"
Why are you being a futurist? We don't know what Trump will do, and I don't think Trump knows what he is going to as well. |

Stating reality about the FPTP system does not equal being scared of change. If you look at history, there have consistently been two major parties. The Libertarians getting more votes may suggest a gradual change in who the two major parties are, but not that we'll have three major parties. There are 538 electoral votes, and you need 270 to win; a simple majority. A tripartisan system means that either A) two parties end up with under half combined, or B) nobody gets 270 and the Senate decides the winner.
With instant runoff voting, a multitude of parties could exist without having to change anything else in the system. |

"Hillary wont run again"
She cannot, like legally she cannot. And her time is over, her chance was only during to 08 election only thing is that Obama stole it from her.
Dan, why are you scared of change and the facts? You do know about the Bull Moose Party right? The only third party to ever win, LIKE in the entire history of America. Don't tell me that America cannot change. We have and we will keep on doing it.
Until the darnest Baby Boomers die off or until they all become to frail to vote change will only be slow. |

I don't recall it winning. I do recall it splitting the Republican vote in 1912, making an easy victory for Wilson. Many members of the party did end up in the House, but that's not too out of the ordinary for third parties.
And why is half your argument "you're scared of change!!"?
Reread my previous post, since I'm fairly certain you're a pot calling the kettle black, in the "reflective kettle" interpretation. |

It did win. That was the point.
You are scared of change, Dan. You were scared of Obama in 08 and then again in '12, and now you are scared of the future in '16. |

| I welcomed Obama. I liked him the most in both 2008 and 2012. It's not "the only" third party to win; others have won positions in the House and the Senate in the past. I'm also welcoming what the future holds for a Trump presidency. At the very least, it'll be a change of pace. |
