can speak another language.
Idk how it works but this one guy was in a coma and when he woke up he could read, speak, and understand Spanish fluently, and before NO ONE in his family spoke any Spanish.
Wow wouldn't that be convenient (aside from being in a coma for who knows how long).

Yeah I heard about this about two years ago or so. Interesting, there are theories that we don't loose short term memory but instead it goes into our subconscious, and such a traumatic event shaking up your head can rewire things a bit and make you remember or start speaking differently. The theory is a little flawed and there is not much evidence of it, however it says that we pick up and analyze everything, some of it we just push down in our brains and do not directly use.
