Warhammer.
Is pretty fun, and a lot of good mods, with easy mod loader by default with the game launcher.
BF1 is just... Meh..

I own Total War: Warhammer.
They've recently added more playable factions.
They will keep on adding more factions and content too.
I recommend it but I think you should go with BF1 cause that's the big hype right now and it's worth your money content wise. TW:W is just beginning to add a lot of content to it so you can wait a little for TW:W.

TW:W vanilla + mods is all i'm going to get. i'm not drowning hundreds of dollars into terrible little, minimal DLC content packages.
i don't really like first person shooters, the only reason i honestly considered BF1 is because i enjoyed the beta for a bit. TW:W has alot more replay value it seems though |

| Total Warhammer is alright. It has a LOT of DLC like any other Total War game, and mods can barely keep up with patches/DLCs so don't expect to be able to play with many of them for very long. |
