| The electoral college does not meet and vote until January, which means if Trump does a couple of really stupid things, they do not have to vote for him |

| They can give the electoral vote to practically anybody, but most likely Clinton since she was in 2nd for every state |

| They're not going to, though. At least they won't if they want to keep their political careers alive. |

That would be suicide for their career lol
It's a possibility, but there's a >.01% probability Clinton is elected |

Problem is that in a lot of states faithless electors are illegal. Only swing states that Trump has won that it isn't illegal are Pennsylvania, New Hampshire (which Clinton won) and Arizona. If all the electors in those two voted Clinton and nobody else was faithless in any Democratic state, Clinton would have 263 electors.
So it won't do anything.

| Interesting @ Zammy, never knew states had actual laws passed to ensure the electors followed their constituents |

"They can give the electoral vote to practically anybody, but most likely Clinton since she was in 2nd for every state"
Except the fact that electors chosen by the state are in the GA or HOR for that state. Almost every state has a state law that if you forbid your states popular vote, you surrender your seat in the HOR.

"They have to vote for majority"
Not true, in 24 states they are allowed to cast a vote to anyone |

Until you realize that when they are sworn in as electors they virtually surrender their seat if they swap their vote.
