Section I, Promotion Information
In order to be promoted in Dux, you have to earn "Credits." Credits are earned through two methods. You can either attend and perform well at group training or you can recruit other people into the group. Attending ONE training will give you ONE credit, while recruiting ONE person will give you HALF a credit. If you ever become a high rank, you can also host events to get two credits. If you break a rule, the high rank that punishes you is able to take away promotion credit or make you attend probationary training, which is training that does not count towards promotion credit.
Anyone with the [LR] title before their rank is a Low Rank. They must earn TWO promotion credits in order to be promoted.
Anyone with the [MR] title before their rank is a Middle Rank. In order to be promoted to the next rank, you have to earn FOUR promotion credits. After you reach the highest [MR] rank and earn the last 4 credits, the [C] ranks and some higher ranking [HR]'s will vote on whether or not you should be promoted into [HR]. The [C] ranks are also able to host emergency high rank votes that make any [MR] eligible.
Anyone with the [HR] title before their rank is a High Rank. In order to be promoted to the next [HR], you must earn SIXTEEN credits. Once you reach the highest [HR] and earn the last 16 credits, the whole group will do a vote on whether or not you should be promoted into a [C] rank.
Anyone with the [C] title before their rank is a Council member. There can be a maximum of 5 [C] ranks at one time.

Section II, Training
High ranks and C ranks are allowed to host group training events to earn credit and to give credit to those who attend. There are multiple places where you are allowed to host training, but the easiest ones to remember are: Dux in Academia Dux Basic Training
When you are given HR, you will be given admin in those training places. Performing in-game punishments during training requires a specific code to be followed called "K.K.B."
K: Kill K: Kick B: Ban
If you are caught skipping one of the steps, you will be warned. Continued abuse will lead to removal of admin privileges, and you will have to be monitored by another HR while you are hosting a training.
During the training, the HRs can do any events they feel like, using the map to their advantage. HRs, at the end of the training, give the people who performed best in the training promotion credit and mark it in the Dux spreadsheet (see the last section). _________________________________________________________________________________
Section III, Basic Rules
All members have to follow a specific set of rules. The ones mentioned here are very basic and are the most important.
Unless you cannot afford the uniform, you are to wear the uniform to all Dux events. Those who cannot afford the uniform or simply don't like the uniform can take off their packages and shirt and set the arm and torso colors to the color in the top right corner of the color palette in the character editing page. Another option is making your own custom uniform and having it approved by any [C] rank.
1. Listen to a higher rank's orders. LRs cannot order people lower than them, but MRs can order LRs. This rule can be ignored if it breaks other rules
2. No exploitation or defending exploiters. There are no exceptions to this and will lead to an exile.
3. You are allowed to kill other Dux members when you're not in a training place as long as it doesn't get to the point where there is arguing and flaming happening. There's no harm in a bit of practice.
4. While you are allowed to kill other Dux members, do not kill allied members unless it's made clear between us and our ally that it's okay.
5. Do not intimidate other members unless you have a reason to.
Other rules will be discussed in later sections. _________________________________________________________________________________
Section IV, Wars
As you may or may not have figured out, Dux means "Leader" in Latin. Just because we give ourselves a powerful name does not mean we are going to jump into a war every 2 seconds. The original idea for Dux was supposed to be a military coup against a group who had messed with me once, but it's evolved into a group that's trying to unite magic groups as allies to fight any threat that comes in our way. We are not leaders in the sense that we will conquer the entire world alone. Dux members are leaders in the sense that we bring people together for the betterment of the wizardry world. Despite this, we are not pacifists. We will go to war if needed and we will assist our allies in a war.
If your group is considering warring with Dux, please PM the Regis et Principum, me, about specific war terms. In a situation where the war terms are broken and there is no punishment given, either the side that committed the act would be punished or the opposite side would be rewarded. _________________________________________________________________________________
Section V, Allied Groups
In order for a group to be eligible to be allied with Dux, they have to follow a certain guideline. The group must have at least 15 members and be active enough that there is mutual gain in activity and strength. The allied group is able to send delegates in order to discuss alliance terms as well as assist in foreign issues. Dux is willing to ally with any group as long as they meet these requirements. We are also willing to help fix relationships between enemy groups if the conflict seems unnecessary in return for alliances. _________________________________________________________________________________
Section VI, Methods of Communication
Currently, Dux has two main ways to communicate. Our members speak either on the group wall or the Discord chat.
The Discord is put in the group shout every so often and has it's own specific set of rules that are on the page. The chat is split up into multiple groups. There are text and voice chats for HRs and C ranks, and there are text chats for MRs. Discord is safe, don't worry about your computer getting kebab'd if you're scared. Obviously, ask your parents permission if you're under the age in the terms and service yadayadayada. _________________________________________________________________________________
Section VII, Spreadsheet
Dux has a Google spreadsheet. High ranks+ have an ability to write on it in order to manage how many credits you have, a full rule list, and a punishment log. For new high ranks, make a Google account and find a way to tell me it so I can give you permission to edit the spreadsheet. The spreadsheet is visible to all people and is frequently put in the group shout after training. If you have issues, it's also frequently posted in the Discord. |
