What is the difference between Mexican food found in Mexican restaurants in America and Mexican food found in Mexican restaurants in Mexico?
I'm curious about this. Thanks in advance!

there really is no difference
i used to live in a predominantly mexican part of chicago and they had family owned restaurants
they dont really differ from that. their culture has a lot of fatty greasy food with lots of spice |

"there really is no difference"
but is it possible that the ethnic cultures in Mexico have a bit of an effect on the cuisine there that you don't find in mexican restaurants in america?
idk

Lengua is very popular
Me and my Spanish friend go to a restaurant near us that makes it really good. If you've never tried Lengua, do it now. |

Good question, also, what caesar said is completely wrong
It's different, our mexican restaurants have like their authentic food per restaurant just like any other restaurant i guess |

| yea theyre obviously going to be slightly different but i feel like mexican-american restaruants (immigrant owned restaurants) have a different flavor that is unique to legitimately mexican cuisine |
