| It all depends on how much you know, there is no way to rate it other wise. |

| because a lot of developers are using C, C++, C#, Java, Javascript, Lua, and Lua is basically to run C in an easier and more secure way. |

| and roblox lua should be easier to learn because there they already give you lots of libraries and things to help you make games without having to do things more from scratch. Whereas regular lua, to do something like this you would need an engine or a couple of good libraries and modules. |

| @Borsy - It's different for all people but I agree, it only takes several weeks of time before you understand most of the functions etc. |

there's a point while learning where everything starts to make sense, and learning the rest is very easy

Compared to other languages? Compared to knitting?
How difficult to learn? Use? Extend? |

I'd give it a 0-2 depending on your programming experience. Lua is higher level than necessary. It's redundant.
For beginners 2, for experienced programmers 0-1. |

Nothing is difficult to learn if you practice and use effort. It is just that some things you have no experience with that will take longer to learn. Eventually it becomes an easier task |

This can apply to the complexitiy of languages too. Lua has some of the most reptitive and simplest syntax ever and is hard to get wrong after a while of usage. Other languages can be more complex or have more complex syntax, and not have so many things manually set up for you like in the roblox engine |

Just the Lua part? I'd say a 3. Learning all or ROBLOX's quirks and API? Maybe push that up to a 4. |

| im rating it low because it's more of a handout than a do your own thing from scratch type of language |

It's the same thing as BASIC (Beginner's All-purpose Symbolic Instruction Code) so it's pretty easy if you have good knowledge
