[INTRO] Welcome to the first and official LifeStar☆: Oxford City, test. This test is to see weather or not you're worthy to be a EMT. These are the basic skills you need to know for this profession. Note; if you did not pass this test, you're welcome to re-take the test with permission from those who run this program.

Get the patient into the stretcher and into the ambulance from there I would hook and IV up in the ambulance and roll to the ER where the surgeons can take over in the mean time on the ride over I will be checking for alertness and checking his or her vitals.

The first GSW (LEFT LEG) went straight through, how do you treat this patient?:I would first check the patient for alertness and check their vitals then I would elevate his or her legs to where they are over there head so that blood flow is restricted from there I would clean my hands and then identify the gunshot wounds I would then disinfect both the wounds that are found and attempt to stabilize the patient then #### ## a temporary IV and from there I would cover the wounds and apply pressure until we reach the ER. |
