The way of the warrior.
[ALL CHUGEN+ MUST KNOW THIS TO PASS SAMURAI TRAINING]
The seven tenets of bushido are as follows:
-Righteousness Righteousness is an attribute which implies a person's life, their actions, and their choices are justified. The righteous do not follow their hearts, but do what is fair and right.
-Courage Courage is the ability that enables us to face danger and difficulty without pain or fear. A samurai has no fear of death.
-Benevolence Benevolence is helping those who are in need. To defend those who cannot defend themselves, and the desire to assist people, regardless of one's ambitions.
-Respect Respect is a positive feeling of esteem for a person or entity, and one's specific actions to represent that feeling of esteem.
-Sincerity Sincerity is the virtue of one who speaks and acts truly about his or her own feelings, beliefs, thoughts, and desires.
-Honour/Honor Honour/honor is knowing what is morally correct, and the ability to do so. Honour/honor also entices fairness in one's actions and beliefs.
-Loyalty Loyalty is devotion to a state, group, or other entity, as well as the ability to follow one's obligations and vows.
