I - Starting Introduction II - Democracy Plans III - Military Plans IV - Civilian plans and rights V - Parliament Staff Management VI - Quick Notes VII - Personal Introduction VIIi - Conclusion
I Greetings, I'm glad to announce that I'll be running in these elections. I have strong plans for this nation and the senate. Let me explain them here.
II I plan on keeping this nation democratic, but limited. During a parliament meeting, I would have all members of the parliament vote on usually all legislation's, changes to civil right's, or political freedom's, and most laws. If there is a highly classified change then, of course, the people who could vote on it would be strongly limited, but still, would have a group of people to vote. Democracy must stay. Now, more about the limits. When I'm prime minister, the only people who can host a parliament session would be governor general+. The host must say whether they can have a parliament session, or not. They can not disapprove unless there is a severe situation. Example: there is currently a governor general+ meeting going on, and all hosts can not attend. And even so, usually the session would be deferred. If they personally don't like the bill; it is not an excuse to disapprove and cancel the entire session. They must fire listen to what the senator/parliament officer has to say, then if they still find it strongly ridiculous, then there can be a meeting hosted up until one day to veto the bill. If the bill is not canceled, then democracy resume's, and the parliament would then continue to vote on the bill. The way that a bill is passed is that the bill must have a majority vote by the senate. The way they would see who voted and who did not is during the session, they would get the people who vote "aye" to stand up, and who vote "nay" to stay seated. There would be two officer's, or anyone else available that would count the people that said nay, then count the people who said aye. They would then add both of the numbers together. If the majority vote is aye, then the bill is passed. If the majority vote is nay, then the bill would be denied. If the session host finds fit, they may host a "re-session." The re-session is when after the first session, if the session host finds that there was a lack of members needed for this, or any other reason's, then he would announce "Re-session." at the end of the session. A re-session is when they would re-do the entire session, just on a different date, or time.
III I believe that the military should only be deployed in enemy region's, and other regions that we ask the nation/land owner to be on. During no war, the military would be focused at Ottawa, defending either senator's, the parliament hill, or patrolling. This can be changed by the general or minister of defense with permission from the prime minister.
IV I plan on giving civilians the full opportunity of having a job here in Ottawa; and I don't just mean "work for CSIS, RCMP, or the government, or just be a criminal." Yes, I plan on actually creating other corporations for citizens to work at, or even creating their own. They need to pay to create one, but to work for one is the corporation's leader(s) decision. You can pay another fee to get your building placed into Ottawa. All fees go to improving Canada and are transferred to the group. Anyone who steals the money can be punished, and Canada will attempt to offer a refund V To run for parliament, there are two ways that I plan to for you run for it. The first one is, during elections, you can send in an application to the liberal prime minister, and then the prime minister will approve or deny it. Since we're trying our best to keep democracy, there can only be at least five people running alongside. The second one, is where there can be at least 20 people running, and only 10-15 can pass, this can change with the prime minister's permission. Now, if you pass, there are a few rules that are announced when you pass. Here is one of them: there are certain levels of session's importance. Here they are;
Minor - You do not have to attend these, and are not mandatory. Average - You must attend these if your available on that day. and are mandatory. You can be excused if not, though. Major - You MUST attend these at all cost's, available or not, if your not on, it counts against you. These are strongly rare and are usually made to a time that everyone can attend, so don't worry.
If you are not active enough and are unexcused and absence three times, then the other parliament members can vote on your removal, and if severe, even the public themselves. The session host must decide the importance of the meeting. The host will message, or announce on any other social media platform what date and the importance of the session is, and who is representing the bill.
VI You can actually ask a parliament member to represent a bill in your name. Just find any way to get in touch with them, and you can then tell them, or send them a forum, or anything like that about the bill! ANYONE can do this, even parliament members can ask other parliament members if they do not feel like representing it, or can't represent it for any reason. Also, governor general+ has the ability to represent a bill, but they must get another host-certified member to host the session.
VII I'd like to describe myself, and my experience a little here. I use to be the minister of public safety & director of CSIS in one of drpiemanlordepic's old Canada group. The group has 2,000 members! But anyways, onto my preference's. I personally dislike communism. Communism is not anything this country deserve's, and democracy must stand. I love to help out citizens, and anyone in need. I won't ignore your pm's, but I might get very busy in-game and might not be able to respond to you if I do achieve prime minister; but who know's, that might not change! If you have a question, just shoot me a PM! Each and every one of you guys is important to this nation, and me, I always have the time to help you all out!
VIII Thanks for taking time reading this, I know it's long, but just feel free to zoom into the parts you only feel is important. Thank you for reading this!
Signed, MasterAveryDion - Leader of the Liberal Party, and hopefully soon to be prime minister!
Excuse any typo's in this, or if I meant to say prime minister, but I said president. I was a bit tired when I wrote this, lol!

I'd like to announce I'm now accepting applications to run alongside with me as parliament staff, and a deputy prime minister. This is a custom application! At least 5 parliament staff will be chosen, and of course, only one deputy prime minister.
