Thumbs up for support, thumbs down for no support.
This will make it a lot easier to gauge the overall opinion of the community especially for the threads that reach 10 pages+.
This will make the reply section full of constructive arguments(We hope) in contrast to a bunch of people saying support or no support. This way people can read through the arguments and take a side.
All mod posts to the thread should be automatically moved to the top, again this helps when the replies have gotten out of hand.
Most of all, posts with 100+ up-votes MUST be responded to by a moderator, or deleted if somehow a dumb troll post got 100+ upvotes.
This would make this whole system much more effective, and it will engage the mods more. It would give people more confidence in posting here because they know if they can muster up enough support that a mod will have to respond.

Yes this is very similar to the old user voice method, but this would allow for constructive criticism unlike the latter.

This would work solely if we had the benefit of the mods. We do not.
S&I, if we were to put it into social terms, is something like the philosopher Max Stirner's "ego-anarchism" with the mods only being somewhat present. Instead, S&I is almost "libertarian-authoritarian" in a way.

Well that's the whole point of this idea. A forced response from a mod whenever a post reaches 100+

| nah this would discourage constructive comments, and a lot of people on this site are young so votes wouldn't be as effective here as they are on another platform, like microsoft's dev suggestions thing |

Just said this would put more focus on constructive commenters..

nah
people will just vote and then move on
if people need to post, there's a higher likelihood that it won't just be a yes/no - if posting is optional, which it would be with the voting method, they won't be motivated to go through the trouble of posting unless they have a very strong opinion |

Nope 90% of the posts I see are already support or no support. If you mean that more players will come to S&I and vote then thats a good thing.

Yes aand that would most definitely happen. 100% why would people make a bot to benefit them when they can just spam upvotes on s&I.
"Hey guys heres an idea instead of making 100 roblox accounts and having them send messages to people advertising our website lets just make 100 different roblox accounts and spam S&I. heheh wouldn't that be funny and totally not a waste of our time?" - some dumb person

bruh.
what do you not understand about this lmao
UNO - why do you think people would be motivated to post constructive comments when they could just hit a button to show their support? they literally would have no motivation to do it. The mods (or admins, or indian tech assistants, whoever they have looking at these) look at the threads they choose - they know what's doable based on the title of a thread. Forcing them to look at something would simply take up their time, because a bunch of suggestions are created by and supported by 12 year olds.
DOS - lol yeah they would.
TRES - bro, do you even english? That comma is necessary, as it separates the sentence from the direct address. A comma always comes before and after the direct address, with the comma omitted if it'd be adjacent to a period.
correct: OP, you clearly do not know what you are talking about; however, I don't hold this against you.
incorrect: Because of that OP you really should stop trying to debate this, you clearly don't have as much experience with systems like this as I do; again, something that I don't hold against you, nor something I use in an attempt to hold myself up or something.
also honestly you can't really bring grammar into question, considering yours is, quite honestly, terrible
somehow, it's worse than mine, which is surprising because I'm typing very informally |

| A comma represents a pause in speech. Unless your chromosome has gone missing you wouldn't pause there. Whats the motivation to not write support or no support. ### ### ## ###### get off my post. Bump. |

BRO YOU ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO USE A COMMA EVERY THREE WORDS. Fool.
No one would waste time making a bot for no benefit. Whats the point?
Bots making 100 accounts is impossible due to Captchas, and eventually account creation is suspended if suspicious activity is noticed.
Again go find your lost chromosome. |

Furthermore, this would put a focus on constructive criticism.
I don't know why you think "support" or "no support" is constructive criticism.

| ###### # ######## ##### for goodness sake there are multiple uses for a comma, you walnut direct ####### have you heard of it additionally, you apparently can't read. I never said that support/no support is constructive, I said that people won't feel like posting constructive criticism because they can just vote. Sure, the few people that had good comments would be more visible, but the people posting constructive criticism would be reduced. And finally, I've been in a writing class for five years and I've aced it each time, so in reality, you're the one that needs to go take an English class. idiot |

"Direct ######" the person you're talking to in a sentence
the first part - I have no idea what I said there
and for goodness sake I've seen bots make tons of threads on a subforum, so for goodness sake, get off your high horse lmao |
