I have a 3.8 right now and any university would take me. could easily get into texas or texas a&m but i'm already established here and it's really not worth the extra effort and trouble to apply and uproot myself
plus if I had to re-establish myself and get used to another school my gpa would probably drop |

I was just saying I got admitted into Texas Tech and they sent me the big admissions packet thing in the mail
would you recommend going to TTU if I don't get into Texas or Texas A&M? I'm going to visit Lubbock on the 21st |

it would be at the Whitacre College of Engineering
If I go to Texas Tech, I want to study Civil Engineering because Architecture is not a very good program at TTU and it's not accredited and TTU has a great Engineering program |

not only would I recommend going, but I would recommend choosing Tech over A&M. Tech is definitely easier, and there's not much difference in professional preference
plus on terms of things to do, Lubbock and College Station are pretty much on the same level. |

the most ironic thing about the architecture building is that it's one of the ugliest buildings on campus |

I heard from a friend that went to visit a few weeks ago (he wants to go to UH anyway) that it's a bunch of blonde rednecks and people who talk a lot about football
I'm just pumped because of the lazy river and the fact that there's a Cane's on campus and Lubbock ISN'T a big city |

| also, if you want an actual tour on the 21st, let me know, because my Monday schedule is extremely light and the public tours they offer on campus are really awful and don't do much |

that's not really true at all
"I'm just pumped because of the lazy river and the fact that there's a Cane's on campus and Lubbock ISN'T a big city"
the lazy river and then the outdoor hot tub was always the move when it was warmer
also, there isn't a Cane's on campus but it's literally across the street from the campus entrance.
there are two chic-fil-a's on campus however. you'll get tired of eating the food on campus regardless though. I don't even like chic-fil-a anymore |

"the lazy river and then the outdoor hot tub was always the move when it was warmer" sounds great
"also, there isn't a Cane's on campus but it's literally across the street from the campus entrance." it seems close enough on Google Maps it's sorta like the Drag and UT
"there are two chic-fil-a's on campus however. you'll get tired of eating the food on campus regardless though. I don't even like chic-fil-a anymore" What meal plan do you have? I'm assuming you have one since you are required to live on-campus your first year. I looked at the meal plans and I'm thinking the Matador one might be right for me should I go to Texas Tech, but I am not sure |

also, speaking of living on campus, avoid Weymouth at all costs trust me when I say that's the last place you want to live
you're going to want to swing for Stangel/Murdough but those fill up fast |
