In a big family like ours snotty attitudes and disrespect can spread like a virus. It started last night when my son started displaying with an attitude. He was warned and I had hoped that this would end it.
This morning he was acting snotty again and over the course of several hours it spread to my other son and two daughters. A warning mid-morning lasted about 15 minutes and that was that.
They were told to get down the family room and I was going to improve their attitudes and eliminate their snotty remarks with a good dose of the paddle.
My older son for some reason came back with a snotty remark which he soon was going to regret. I had the girls wait in the hallway while I dealt with the boys. My son who did not know enough to keep his mouth shut went first and was howling in short order. Then his brother kicked and howled up a storm and while he was dancing around the room Mr. Snotty mouth who was still rubbi#######b### ####entertained with a second dose of the paddle which really had him frantic and sorry.
As the boys were ushered out of the family room two sobbing girls were ushered in. Their promises to be good were ignored and they both got a good dose of the paddle which left them very red and very sore. As they were ushered out of the family room and the remainder of our hoard were let back into the room to watch TV. And as one would expect they were on their best behavior.
Attitude issues, snotty talk, and backtalk seem to spread between the children like a virus. One starts doing it and the next thing you know the others are testing the waters too.
Fortunately, my trusty paddle lights a fire in their bare bottoms which seems to cure the problem. I am sure that the offenders will regret their issues for today and well into tomorrow and the others will be on their best behavior for the rest of the weekend.
Blessings,
Terri |

You should get paid for this. The sheer dedication and discipline to not even reveal your main account.
