Fancy writing a good bit of information on the following things:
What is copyright? What do you have to do before you use images that aren't yours? Why should you ask for permission for images/information? What are the punishments if you don't have permission to use the information/images
Making it detailed enough so it can be accepted :3
The 2k is in group funds so you will be paid exactly 2,000 R$

Copyright is a legal right created by the law of a country that grants the creator of an original work exclusive rights for its use and distribution. This is usually only for a limited time. The exclusive rights are not absolute but limited by limitations and exceptions to copyright law, including fair use.
2) nothing unless it says its trademarked or copyrighted
3) to avoid a lawsuit
4) DCMA takedown notice or a lawsuit |

I don't even want the 2k
Copyright is right to create and/or replicate a certain material (oftentimes media) given to the original creator of said work.
Before using images that aren't yours, you should research if they're free-use material or not. If the latter is true, permission should be obtained by the creator or publisher of said image.
If permission is not obtained, there are legal ramifications for using said works.
If there's no permission, offenders are required to pay fines or face jail time as a result for their infringement of copyright. |

What is Copyright?
Copyright is the express right to your own work. These laws have been around in the US since 1790 to supplement the Bill of Rights and how it allowed freedoms of speech and more. Many countries have also used very similar copyright laws. In order to get permissions to a work, you must apply for the patent. They usually last for many years after they are issued, usually outliving the artist of the work.
What do you have to do before you use images that aren't yours?
In the case it is yours in the sense that you were the photographer or the artist who made the graphic, then you have all rights to the work. If you did not create it in any way, shape, or form, then it usually falls under two categories. Plagiarism is an ethical issue and is the use of a work that is not under any copyright. In order to find out if it is fine to use a work that you are not sure about, don't be afraid to ask the creator of the work. Copyright infringement is a state where the person that owns the copyright has all rights to it and must approve of you using it. It is found most people will let you use it, but only after you ask them permission. The easiest way to avoid problems is to use public domain images. Just understand that how you use it and how you change the image can effect how you are under copyright infringement.
Why should you ask permission for images/information?
While it can be argued it is mostly a morality issue, it is actually the exact opposite. Not asking permission is a violation of the law, obviously, and you would be forced to pay money damages, stop using the work, or possibly more. It is much cheaper to just ask permission and likely pay a very small amount per use, or be at no cost, rather than pay thousands for a lawsuit. Assume all works you see are copyrighted and take the necessary precautions before you use it commercially.
What are the punishments if you don't have permission to use the information/images?
First, you are forced to stop using the work in any way you have used it thus far. Depending on severity, you will pay an amount between two hundred and one hundred fifty thousand dollars for each use of infringement. On top of that, the infringer pays for all legal costs, including attorneys. In serious cases, you could be put in jail for up to five years under copyright infringement. It is a serious crime morally and literally to use someone's work without their permission. They worked hard to make it and they deserve the decency of permission to use it.
