Idk about SQL bu###ou can store data like this:
script in Workspace named onPlayerAdded:
local DataStore = game:G################################################################game.Players.PlayerAdded:connect(function(player)
local stringExample = Instance.new("StringValue", player) stringExample.Name = "StringExample"
local key = "player-"..player.userId local savedValues = DataStore:GetAsync(key) if savedValues then stringExample.Value = savedValues[1] else local ValuesToSave = {stringExample.Value} DataStore:SetAsync(key, ValuesToSave) end end)
script in Workspace named onPlayerLeaving:
local DataStore = game####################################################################################################################### local stringExample = Instance.new("StringValue", player) stringExample.Name = "StringExample"
local key = "player-"..player.userId local savedValues = DataStore:GetAsync(key) if savedValues then stringExample.Value = savedValues[1] else local ValuesToSave = {stringExample.Value} DataStore:SetAsync(key, ValuesToSave) end end)

I'm pretty sure you can't use SQL for Roblox, ask someone who works for Roblox

The scripts I showed you does that, it stores data when you leave, then it loads them when the player joins.
example: value: 0 *first join* value is set to 1 value: 1 ->*player leaves* | value saves | *player joins again* | value loads with 1 | value: 1 -loop

then with those values you can make a script that changes what the player looks like. It can be any kind of value btw, not only integar. so if for example a value is true you can change the color of a player's limb

LOL If you're wanting to actually work with sql you'll need to know php and have a fast running web server (paid hosting).

You can use SQL and PHPMyAdmin since I'm doing so for the RPG I'm making. Find more information about it here but it's advised to know how to code in php. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=25T8GEF4fvg
