@Catalyzes, I completely understand how 6th Grade is. However, 6th grade is nothing compared to 7th. I don't mean to scare you, but it's the truth, and trust me, I've been there. Sometimes you'll run into those "Rich kids" once in a while, and sometimes you'll run into that "Popular kid". as an 8th Grader, I have seen other 8th Grade "Rich and Popular kids" bullying 6th Graders. Mostly of what him/her wears to school.
Also, you will be judged for what you play. Roblox, Club Penguin, and Minecraft are three good examples of judgemental factors. How do I avoid this? First off, if someone is seriously going to judge you for what you play, then how are they seeing what you're doing in the first place? (Warning: I will be saying "They" a lot, so be prepared. They = Rich and Popular kids.) So... if I came up to you and said: Lol, you play Roblox and Minecraft?
1 thing will pop into your mind: Ho- How did you get that information?
Only thing you can say is: Why are you spying on me? Geez, Slenderman much? a fictional character that has no meaning, and you're judging me for playing a game that has not lead to any controversial impact?
Also, if you're being judged for what you wear, that's another level of ridiculousness. So... how do I avoid this?
"Omg, David those pants are for women! I always knew you looked like one."
"David: well Richard, thanks for reaching your hand down my shorts to find the 'FM' sticker, this just proves how pathetic you look putting fingers in people's shorts. Also, you take a look at Africa, where kids don't even have any clothes at all... so you'd rather see me with nothing on? *Not used for insensitivity*
It amazes me how fast the brain of a self entitled popular kid shuts down after being proven with factual information.
@Catalyzes, I'm not going to lie, you seem like a descent kid. Just make sure you avoid all populars, I can't guarantee that these methods will help. And as I previously stated, I wen't through the same exact thing. 6th and 8th Grade are the best grades you will experience, despite the attention that revolves around these kids, if you do your Homework and get A's and B's, then you'll do fine. And, I can't really help you if you are struggling in classes. Best solution is to see the counselor or talk to the teacher directly. |
