How's this for a series format?
First five (Or more) minutes is just open world guff
Then a side mission
Then a story mission
End video

Aiden is a jerkass
Nobody apparently likes the graphics downgrade
But I like it, enough to get this idea in my head

You have unleashed a monster CatBoy. Prepare thyself
1. The inventory Well, there are way too many god damn guns, but at least you have a variety of ways to shoot people. Guns are separated into types. You have one-handed guns (Pistols and an uzi or two), two-handed guns (Automatic rifles pretty much), shotguns (Guess), and heavy weapons (Sniper rifles and grenade launchers). There is a one-handed shotgun somewhere, which is good fun Ammo is separated into a giant pool for each weapon type, so you don't really have to micromanage ammo One handed guns can be carried in the open without alerting the public, as long as you don't aim or run with them out There are different outfits. I think there are like 3 or 4 different styles of the same thing, and then its all palette swaps. But some of them look badarson
You can also craft consumable items, ranging from grenades to distraction items You also have craftable hacks. Mostly comm jams and city wide blackouts You can buy most of the ingredients for these, and money is not hard to get
2. Combat Aim and shoot. There is aim-assist. You can turn that crap off. There is a cover system I've only played on the hardest difficulty (You don't believe me), so I can't give a fair review here. But on average, 3 bullets and you dead Enemies aren't complete bullet sponges, and headshots usually work You also have an "I win" button that doesn't work on the toughest mook if you don't have a certain perk. But you can still get shot while the animation is active The I-Win is really fun when you have a gun out. Trust me You can use some hacks on some people to kill or temporarily disable them
3. Transportation You can walk, jog, or do some sprinting light parkour There is a fast travel system, which requires you to hack and parkour your way to a tower thingamabob and then you unlock a hideout which you can then fast travel to The driving has been slammed on, but I personally like it. Cars are either grippy or slidy. Some are tanks. Some are fast. Learn the car and you shall be fine But get a bike. Bikes are fun Boats are for su#############t##################re god, but only 3 guns have one. But you get one of them after mission 1 and it can carry you to the end of the game in normal use Creep around, avoid line of sight. If you get spotted, you have a second to kill/knock them out before the area is alerted You can break line of sight mid-combat and sneak up on them. Which, really, will save yer arson from being killed many, many times You can also hole up somewhere and eliminate the mooks with well-planned hacking There is car stealth, but it doesn't quite work if you didn't start out in stealth. You drive around, don't get too close, and you can hide in the car if they do If you didn't start out in car stealth, you have to break line of sight. Which is an########f###ecause these people have eyes of an eagle Either or, the enemies will hover around you if you hide in an alleyway while hiding in the car. Which is tense af a## feels fake#### ### it works
5. Hacking They dumbed this down slightly from the original concept. You pretty much aim and hold the hack button, whereas originally you had to select a hack from a menu What can you do? Including, but not limited to: Set off grenades! Make all the traffic lights green! Make radio headsets go haywire! Explode the thing! Rupture a steam pipe! Steal money from bank accounts! Steal a system key (Important crafting item)! Look through cameras! Move said cameras! Jump from camera to camera! Hack from a camera!
There is also a hacking minigame here and there. Essentially, make a path for the source thingamabob to reach the end bit. You are timed at points
6. Open World Guff! Collectibles, naturally Open the profiler and read the private info of everyone around you. It actually took a while to get repeats Listen in on calls and text conversations. Same as above, took a while for repeats There's a serial killer on the loose. You get to find his victims Random crime events. Most of them are CtOS initiated, directing you to an area and then you have to find the crime in progress. But sometimes, there is a random attack on the street Bunch of side missions. I mean, they repeat. A lot. "Hurt the gang leader!" "Destroy the convoy" "Etc". But they're different enough in execution that it doesn't get boring Fixer Missions are annoying. I don't like 'em. But that's just me. They essentially are the side missions in a car and you do a specific criminal thingamabob. I think there is like 40 or so. Repeats again, but eh There are minigames, ranging from drinking to chess You can rob stores for pocket change
7. Digital Trips These get a section on their own. I find them fun af They alter the game into something different entirely, complete with a unique perk tree and screen filter You have Madness: You pilot a heavily armored car in a hellish version of the game, and you complete objectives within a time limit. Oh yeah, there's demons on the road. Run them over
Alone: You're in a darkened version of down-town Chicago, and need to sneak around robots to reach a point to hack that a bit to make the world better again. It's actually really damn tense, because fighting won't go very well and they are legion
Spider Tank: You're a tank. In spider form. You have incredibly powerful guns. you can jump and climb up the side of buildings. You're fighting police. You have objectives to complete Fun as it sounds
Psychedelic: If you need a break from the dark, dark world of Watch_Dogs, go bounce around on flowers for a bit

4. Stealth THE FILTER DOESN'T LIKE THIS WORD NOR DOES IT LIKE THE CORRECT WORD BUT (the quiet) weapons are god, but only 3 guns have one. But you get one of them after mission 1 and it can carry you to the end of the game in normal use Creep around, avoid line of sight. If you get spotted, you have a second to kill/knock them out before the area is alerted You can break line of sight mid-combat and sneak up on them. You drive around, don't get too close, and you can hide in the car if they do If you didn't start out in car stealth, you have to break line of sight. Which is annoying as the fun word, because these people have eyes of an eagle Either or, the enemies will hover around you if you hide in an alleyway while hiding in the car. Which is tense as the fun word and feels fake as the fun word, but it works
