I know that the Note 7 benchmarks are lower than the iPhone's. I definitely acknowledge that, and the Apple A10 chips are amazing for phone CPUs. And obviously, the batteries are 'superior' to Samsungs'.
But I think the Note 7 wins because: Water Resistance @IP68, Extra RAM, Aesthetics, S-Pen features, Edge Features, Expandable Memory of up to 256 gigs, and Gear VR. |

@hambertxl
The iPhone 7/iPhone 7 Plus is water resistant @IP67, which is not at all disappointing, but by all mean is definitely not on the same level of IP68 water resistance.
The current Note 7, Galaxy S7, and Galaxy S7 Edge's only contain 4 gigabytes of RAM inside and not 6. It's simply not an argument to say: "you know a Phone doesn't need 6 gb of ram right". All it proves is a possible chance of extra performance...
Aesthetically, I do believe that the Note 7 looks significantly better than the iPhone 7/iPhone 7 Plus. Although, it's purely personal choice on this one, so if you beg to differ on this one, I can't change that. Although, you should look into the screen quality of Samsung which is scaled at 1440p, while the iPhone 7 doesn't even scratch 1080p but rather around 750p. ALTHOUGH, if you get the iPhone 7 Plus, it's screen quality is @1080p.
The Gear VR, is by no means, "compatible" with the iPhone... In fact, if you actually knew anything about what the Gear VR is, then you would know that it's produced by Samsung and is only compatible with the following devices: Samsung GS6, GS6 Edge, GS6 Edge Plus, GS7, GS7 Edge, and Note 7 (No longer, sadly.). |
