i can fit an hours worth of music on a cd and have to change it every hour or so
but i can fit 100 hours worth of music on my phone and never have to change it |

In thus case, wouldn't it be better just to get an ipod and an aux cord? (Assuming their car has an aux import)

As far as I'm aware, there's no law against listening to an ipod through an AUX cable as long as you're not changing songs manually while driving.

Depends on the device I think. You're allowed to use bluetooth/hand-free earpieces while you're driving. I think as long as you're not taking your hands off the wheel or your eyes off the road than it's perfectly legal.

The law is to not TEXT while driving.
They didn't say you couldn't touch your phone at all. That would be stupid.
