Although Homeschool is not a very good option if you want to get a job in professions that require intellectual and social skills, like being a Lawyer or a doctor, it is a good option if you want to be a tech support guy or be in small business.

Straw man fallacy.
The thing is, while you might be developing your intellectual skills, you are not developing your social skills, because you are not surrounded with other people.

Joe, homeschooling usually means that your parents care enough about your education to do it themselves rather then send you off to public school to get a government mandated one-size-fits all education.

my school was going to kick me out so my parents put me into a small classroom that had a different teaching style
and i absolutely hated it it was nearly impossible to get back into regular classes they kept telling me i had to become more 'independent'
and i was the most happy person on planet earth once i got into common core

Actually King, homeschoolers do develop social skills. (Being surrounded with other people does not mean you will acquire social skills) as adults, people are rarely in a setting where they spend inordinate amounts of time with people their own age. Homeschoolers are constantly going on field trips, going to co-ops, and in short, socializing with people of every age that makes them actually have more social skills. Please cite a study showing that homeschoolers dramatically lack social skills compared to public or private-schooled peers.

@Programmer
Straw man fallacy again.
Homeschoolers do not lack social skills, you can be a very sociable person but you won't be able to function in a social environment if you don't engage in social activity, that's common sense. I do not hate homeschoolers or hold a grudge against home school system or anything like that, in fact I agree with some things homeschool has, such as more time to focus, but the main con of the homeschool is that most homeschool systems do not have field trips or physical education, which they should have.

By being home-schooled, you'll miss out on some of the underlying benefits of public school like greater social skills and the exposure to a vast array of germs and allergens to strengthen your immune system. (Or make you sick.)

@King We homeschoolers go on lots of field trips, and, as we're at home, we can go outside, which is just as good, if not better, than a P.E. class. We can also take P.E. classes if we go to a homeschool co-op. There are really no cons to homeschooling as opposed to public schooling.

Saying that there are no cons to homeschooling is a very bold statement.
As I mentioned earlier, homeschool is not very suitable if you are aiming to be in one of the careers that require working in large groups. Most homeschoolers will not be prepared to go to college, which is a critical downside. It also requires a lot of time commitment from parents and technically speaking, it's less stressful to go to a public/private school.
