Ok so I had in my original earrings for like 2 weeks then got bored of them and changed them (I know ur supposed to wait 6 weeks). They got infected because I changed them to tight fitting earrings, so I changed them back to the original earrings I got which is just a ball and long post. I have had the originals back in my ear for about a month, their is no sign of infection. I just bought earrings that are a smaller gauge than the ones I have in currently. If I put in the smaller earrings will my ear shrink like overnight while sleeping?

| I don't see how your ears can shrink from earings, but they won't shrink. I don't know much about earing but my sis wears them so I know that they won't shrink. |

It's not a big shrink, prob 18 gauge to 20 gauge.
