Technically, the square root of 2 in simplest form is, simply, √2. You can't simplify it any further.
If you want it in decimal form, it's approximately 1.414

@CannedWhy
I'd rather not, and stick to math.

What confuses me about your problem is that MX should be one half of the length of MB, given that X is the midpoint of MB. However, in the situation you've described, MX is 1 unit longer than MB. It doesn't make sense.
Ignoring what is realistic and what's not, in this situation, MB would supposedly be -2 units long, with MX being -1 units long, as MX is 1/2 of -2 and 1 more than -2.

You wouldn't be able to prove that because if ∠ABC is being BISECTED by Ray AD, as BISECTING something means to split it into two EQUAL parts, m∠ABD would HAVE to equal 45, as half of 90 is 45. A 40 degree angle wouldn't be a bisection unless ∠ABC were an 80 degree angle.

Ok fine. This isn't Algebra 2 stuff, just Algebra.
4/53.25 = x/ 1384.50
Find what x means. ( / isnt dividing, it's simple fractions))

@dreamy
4/53.25 = x/1384.5
The best way to solve this is to simply cross multiply and solve for X.
53.25x = 4(1384.5) 53.25x = 5538 x = 104

@bambamman11
This is easy to solve.
9d + 1 - 8d + 2 + e^2 - 3 + z + 2n + 3u - n - 1 - 2u + 1 + t + s
= 9d - 8d + z + 2n - n + 3u - 2u + t + s + 1 + 2 - 3 - 1 + 1 + e^2
= d + z + n + u + t + s + e^2
