| i feel like it might help in the future, for creating sites for my own use and other's use. is it worth it to spend long term on this? |

that depend's on what you want to do.
languages like javascript are handy to know. but software > web
imo

They are used for different purposes. Not really comparable.
OP. Before you go down one path in this, think about what you like.
Do you like the satisfaction of making something antithetically pleasing and thinking "I made that"? Or would you rather know you're making the lives of thousands of people easier? Would you want to give people entertainment? Think! Even with Web Development there is many different choices. |
