They're literally taking his head off and putting it on another body so he can walk again.
I'm feeling ill just typing about it. |

| @Vine Because science has gone too far, what made me feel even more queasy is them talking about how they'll glue his head on. |

In seriousness I'm guessing it will be similar to how they work when they replace body parts like limbs and stuff.
Honestly I'm not a scientist but this just seems so crazy that we're at a point where it's possible. |

I shall see if I can find the thing about it.
Perhaps I can offer better explanation then.
I mean I did a science course once but it never really went into anatomy. |

Google Valery Spiridonov.
I can't really explain what the idea of the procedure is, all I know is it involves partially severing his neck and transferring blood cells through a tube,
Supposedly the Italian surgeon doing it says he can do it within a day and he's 90% sure it will succeed.
But yeah explaining this is well out of my qualification.
I just know the patient is basically willing to do it despite the risks because it means he will be able to do stuff he's physically incapable of. |

@Cud Well if it goes wrong I don't think he'll be feeling too good.
But heck if it goes right imagine the possibility of this becoming routine.
This guy is in all manners being cured of an uncurable condition. |

When I first about it I thought he wanted a new head and I was slightly creeped out by him wearing the face of a dead man.
But yeah it's just a new body not a new head. |

| Times like this when I wish DapperNarhwal was about, he'd probably know a heck a lot more than I do about this. |
