People who create models should receive 5% of the revenue of any game using their model.

It isn't exploitable because the game has to generate revenue and it would add 5% to the taxes, I feel that this would be a good feature because then you wouldn't have to build a full fledged game but rather you can just build an item and make money from it.

But, if the model is made by the same person who developed the game, that person shouldn't get any extra revenue.

Also have some sort of moderation against fake models and only add the 5% if models are used.

If models are used take a 15% percent of profits and then divided that amount between all the people whose models are used in the game. This way there can't be over 100% of the profits being divided among the model makers, and the creator can't be left with nothing.

People can easily republish models and gain profit that way. Moderation would be near to impossible due to the easily abusable way of doing this.

But we need a way to reward users who create models when that model is used in a game.

There's no way to track it though. You can't put anything in a model that will tell the site "hey, this game is using the model." If I insert a model into a game and immediately delete it, yeah that's easy. But then you have situations where the players take the model, unpack the contents, put them in random places, redo them, then delete some and keep others. At what point is it still their model? How do you keep track of that? It's impossible to implement fairly.
