Thank you for your interest in joining the Bureau of Prisons Disturbance Control Team. Entry is granted through try-outs hosted by the DCT Team Leader. ==================================================================================== Roles for the Disturbance Control Team (DCT): -Search, and return escaped inmates back to the prison. -Perform LVPD Station Inmate transfers to the prison. -Control riots, and other similar disturbances that require a higher presence. -Be available to provide backup any time you’re online. ==================================================================================== Guidelines: -Follow all leadership from HICOM, and consult the DCT Team leader with questions or concerns. -For LVPD Transfers as a DCT member, you must have at least one other DCT member with you, or another BoP member with you, however, if that extra person is not DCT or HICOM, that officer must ask a HICOM (LCO+) for permission to leave the prison and assist with the transfer. In addition to this, you must note that you are going with the DCT to perform a LVPD transfer. -For leaving the prison to hunt down an escaped inmate, you may go alone to search for the inmate, however, you must put it in team radio chat that you are doing so, and however, you may not take non-DCT/HICOM along with you without HICOM permission. As soon as you capture/stop the escapee, return to the prison as soon as possible. -For riots that involve one or more inmates gaining control over the control room (room above the cell block holding the cell opener buttons), you should have at least one DCT member stay in the control room with the arrest tool out, and have the rest of the DCT members on scene systematically push through the crowd until you regain control of the situation. ===================================================================================== Punishments: First offense- Warning Second offense- Temporary or permanent removal from the Disturbance Control Team Third offense- Permanent removal from the Disturbance Control Team *BoP HICOM reserve the right to remove anyone from the DCT for any reason, and/or take further action in situations which may constitute it. Thank you for your interest in the Disturbance Control Team. *BoP HICOM reserve the right to change this guide at any time, with, or without notice. Signed, Commander Color
