i remember we had a blank map of the US on the first day of APUSH and we were told to label every state on the map
it literally amazes me how many people can't even name every state on the map

lol same cheesey, except she combined it with a period 1 quiz (because that was summer work) so we also had to label some native tribes and regions too
easy quiz grade to start out the year but some ppl were stressing lol

it's one thing to maybe mix up like new hampshire and vermont (or some of the small east coast states) but to not know anything west of the mississippi (which was probably half the class) is just embarrassing

| US states aren't even hard. I understand if you don't know the capital of each one, but there's not excuse for not knowing every state. |

| i've taken honors classes all my life and this is the first time i've ever been quizzed on all the states, let alone their capitals |

i had to do that for apush too. the northeast states kinda messed with me but we had a wordbank and i used process of elimination to get those like 4 that i didnt know up there to get a 100.
vermont new hampshire and connecticut always messed me up but i can easily do every state now tho
