(People told me to post this here, it's not really a suggestion but okay...)
Hello,
I have been working for the past 2 weeks on a new system which can be used throughout ROBLOX. It is a new alternative currency that can be used in any game.
People have developed their own in-game currencies however this one is different. First of all it can be used between games so you can use it everywhere. Secondly it uses the Trello API to store all the data meaning we can track all transactions and back-up people's data. This system is very secure and uses module scripts so it cannot be edited by exploiters.
This has already been built, tested and works fully. To get credits you can exchange ROBUX into the currency which are called Passes.
--How is this better than ROBUX?
Well, first of all, the system shall have a daily login bonus. You can get daily Passes by logging onto a game which has the pass system (something which ROBLOX removed when removing tickets.)
Secondly, There is no marketplace fee, the passes people spend will go straight to the place owner with none being deducted.
--Can passes be exchanged back into ROBUX?
All ROBUX spent to get passes shall be paid into a group (which is yet to be created). Like the DevEx system, anyone with a high number of passes can exchange them back into ROBUX.
--How might a developer use this?
A developer could replace ROBUX transactions in their game so users can spend passes or just use both. Of course this would be aimed at small games and developers who would have an option to charge ROBUX or Passes in their game. For instance you could spend Passes to get a new item or access a new area like a VIP room.

So overall I have created a new virtual currency system with many of the qualities we lost with tickets and no marketplace fee. What do you guys think? Would this work? Or would it fail abysmally? Please comment your thoughts. |

why would anyone use this
its not a bad idea but i dont see why a dev would want to use a custom currency like this instead of just charging only robux for gamepasses/dev products

| It also gets developers passes themselves which they can spend on games. As I said there is an option to charge ROBUX and passes. |

Support but
Passes shouldn't be able to be interchangeable with ROBUX, but rather limited in use to maintain profit. So you cant spend on limiteds, shirts/pants that arent approved to be spent on etc |

| Support / No support. No support part first. People would make places that do free passes, and therefore people would have an unfair advantage over people who worked hard to earn their passes. Now for the support part. All of us would like to see tix back again, wouldn't you? This is an really great idea for roblox to do and this would make roblox less paid access so all of us can get some advantages too. |

This will probably fail for these reasons:
1) Bigger developers can't DevEx from this. A lot of people have making ROBLOX games a job. Even though you can exchange the passes into ROBUX there's still an issue with running out of ROBUX to give out to people.
2) Trust issues. People won't trust you with all of this responsibility enough to use this.
3) Because of previous reasons, a lot of developers that are just more interested in buying things with this currency won't use it, because there aren't enough people using it to where they could actually make any use out of it.
4) If this does happen to get big, it's very likely something will go wrong. Either the system gets too many requests and everything is delayed by a few minutes, or somebody gains access to the Trello board one way or another.
I don't mean to crush your dreams but these are just my reasons this will likely fail. I think this idea could be pretty good but it doesn't seem very realistic. |

Wait, people who are making Roblox games consider it as a job. Trust me it isn't. Your salary is going to be very low compared if got a real job that requires scripting/coding.
I would consider Roblox a platform for people who are just started learning about scripting/coding. Practice essentially.
Roblox is not a job, and a future anyone should pursue if they want to be successful. |

the whole reason roblox removed tickets was because "it will be to hard for new players to understand them" roblox wouldn't add pretty much the same thing back right after removing something that's pretty much the same thing. also, this time, unlike tix, it probably will be complicated not just for new players, but for everyone.

| And while having a second currency is a good idea, it shouldn't be free, you should have to buy it/earn it, people who make items should be able to charge passes for it and groups should be able to reward members with small amounts of passes for being active,creators ofallkinds should be able to charge passes to access games and model makers should receive 5% of the revenue of any game using their models. |
