| Yet that could have been spent on fixing the school system but no lets re-model the current ones and not fix them. Because spending money on broken things totally fixes them, it's like fixing the outside walls of a house but not the inside walls, and it collapse because it wasn't fixed. |

we had to move the 5th graders into the middle school here because our town decided to spend over 100 thousand building a pool in the black part of town which no white people go too

I see what you're saying but I feel as though a better analogy would be saying "It's like spraying deodorant on a poop stained shirt instead of actually washing it." |

(not defending the k-12 school system, i hated it myself) there's only so much that they can do though they could spend all the money in the budget on decent teachers, books, etc. but if the students can't be bothered to care about learning then what can you actually do |

There is only so much they can do, but, at least in my experience, the school system's management of money is pathetic.
Probably why many of the kids they teach can't manage money either. |

"i thought it was teachers complaining that they don't get paid enough"
Many schools, although it does differ from area to area, are claiming that they don't have enough money to adequately teach the students they're responsible for.
