| It's pretty annoying to see the comments of a game (example: https://www.roblox.com/games/9528010/Blood-Iron) flooded with literally 30+ spam comments per minute. Obviously the accounts are bots, so why doesn't ROBLOX just add a word or picture CAPTCHA form when you make a new account or post a comment for the first time? What a novel concept... |

@micro
what would you rather have:
pay a few extra dollars that roblox definitely has to cut down on spam
OR
help get hundreds of new users/old users accounts stolen weekly?
i would pay extra money. Who cares, roblox has a lot of money. A few cents wont bankrupt them |

You don't know how this works.
If their expenses go up, our prices go up. |

| So are most other suggestions on here. At least from what I've seen, ROBLOX doesn't really consider changing much brought up on this subforum. So the cycle of something getting suggested and buried a million times is something that comes naturally. |

^ What he said.
I support, even if it's been suggested a billion times. |

CAPTCHA is not free my man. Its a company that makes it and they don't give it out because if they did, they would go bankrupt |

According to the site Google made for reCAPTCHA,
"reCAPTCHA is a free service that protects your website from spam and abuse."
Not exactly CAPTCHA, but I'm pretty sure it's basically the same. Do you have another source that points against it being free? |

| I just tested it and there was no CAPTCHA prompt when creating a new account for me. |
