I have a monitor that is 1280x1024, but ROBLOX is only displaying at 8XXx6XX (don't know the exact dimensions that output shows when changing screen size). Recently, this has been interfering with GUIs in Roblox games, most notably preventing me from playing Flatworld because only a fourth of the GUI showed up on the client.
Is there a way to change ROBLOX's resolution so that it actually fits my monitor? |

Yes you can. Try exploring the tools on the top during edit mode. I dont know exactly how to get there. |

Thanks for the advice. I was able to fix the problem.
For future reference, if you want to change the resolution (ROBLOX automatically sets the resolution by default), open up ROBLOX Studio, then go to Tools-Settings..., which will open up the Settings window. Then click on Rendering, scroll down to Screen, and use the drop-down menu to manually set your resolution.
This can also be done in Solo Mode once you turn Tools on, but the effects are only temporary when done from Solo Mode. |

| By the way, Settings has a lot of interesting stuff to change, such as Editor Font and BubbleChatDuration (something like that). You can even toggle Experimental Physics! (it's on by default) |

Edit Mode = Editing with ROBLOX Studio
Roblox Studio = Scripts, Mesh, Bricks (Of course), etc.
How to get to ROBLOX Studio; Windows: Go to the left hand bottom corner and type in the search bar: Roblox Studio. What you see on your moniter is Roblox Studio.
How to get to "edit mode"; Windows: With Roblox Studio up, go to "My ROBLOX"; Profile; Now, look at your places choose your place, and look at where it says "Play" and look to the right of that and it says "Edit." Click on that and edit your game.
Note: Look on Youtube for instructions for editing with Roblox Studio. |

| It didn't work for me, but may fix your problem. On windows press the windows key and R, type %localappdata%/roblox then hit enter. Find GlobalBasicSettings, open it with any text editor, and then scroll down till you find resolution. Change this to what you need then save. |

I figured out this odd way.
1. Get an different game with good resolution (My example is Starcraft 2)
2. Click on a roblox game.
3. As soon as it loads, Press Alt+Tab to go on the game.
4. Wait a few sec to ensure the game has fully loaded.
5. Alt+Tab back into roblox, and there it is!!!
Hope my advice helped. |

You can no longer change roblox's resolution after the studio update.
Roblox's resolution is now synced to your display.
So, 1920x1080 display = Roblox displays 1080p 1366x768 display = Roblox displays 768p
and so on. |

| You'll see a difference in resolution because of reduced aliasing and the HUD and GUIs in games. It will get smaller as resolution gets larger. |

| Well, that sucks. I only have 3/4 of a game GUI, and some GUI's don't show at all because my screen resolution is 1024 x 768. |
