| I think that Disney needs to stop buying franchises for the needs of their company. My reasoning on this is the possibility of the original stories for these franchises to be overshadowed by new Disney material. What do you, the people of Roblox, think. Shouldn't Disney calm down and enjoy the empire they created without the added franchises. |

I totally agree with this. The first day I heard about Disney owning Marvel, I was like "Forget this."

| I mean, Disney is doing kinda well with keeping Star Wars, it's a bit surprising with the amount of curses in the Marvel movies (I approve of curses in Marvel). |

No, Fox owns X-Men. They have since the 90's. In my opinion, Disney is a threat to Marvel and Star Wars since they have the final say on a majority of their programming. Disney is being more lenient on Rebels because they realize that the majority who watches that program are in the 13-18 demographic. Keep in mind that I am referring to the upcoming season rather than the previous seasons.
As for Marvel, Disney mainly sits back and collects a check off of their movies. They don't do much to it aside from cover a lot of the production necessities. The issue with I have with Disney and Marvel, however, are their current comic books. They are declining in sales because Marvel is rebooting their continuity in a bad way. |

| Technically speaking, Disney didn't 'bully out' Spectacular Spider-Man. When Disney purchased Marvel, they purchased their assets. Sony has always had ties to Spider-Man, so it shouldn't shock a comic fan when Sony didn't want to surrender a quality series like that to Disney who would certainly water it down and push it until the series becomes overrated and drop it. Not to mention both sides were in it for the money. |

| Honestly Disney has proved too be fine with both Marvel and Star Wars. Force Awakens was a great movie, and the flaws didn't have anything too do with a Mickey Mouse cameo or anything along the lines of that. It more had too do with it being almost the same movie as New Hope in some parts. |

Disney literally lets both Lucasfilm and Marvel Studios run by themselves. Kevin Feige is in charge of Marvel, and plans everything out. Kathleen Kennedy is the head of Lucasfilm and is in charge of all future Star Wars films.
Disney literally is just overseeing all the projects, and have given them creative freedom. As with comics, Disney has no involvement with them. They bought out Marvel Entertainment which in turn is Marvel Studios. All that Civil War 2 crap is just them trying to cash in on the movies. I don't know though, I never really bothered reading Marvel Comics.
So Disney is doing great. They brought Star Wars back to form. People moan how "oh TFA is so much like ANH," keep in mind before it came out every fan was saying how they wanted it to be like the original trilogy. Disney played it safe and made it similar to the trilogy, while introducing new elements as well. It's a great film regardless. Not to mention Rebels has been exceptional. Yes, the filler in season 2 got annoying, but man, the payoff is always worth the wait. The season 2 finale was absolutely amazing. Also Thrawn? Yes, please.
Marvel is also hitting it out of the park. They literally have a monopoly on the comic book industry, and are churning out at least decent movies. Say all you want about Iron Man 3 or Dark World, they aren't amazing, but they aren't garbage either. Then they make films like Civil War, Winter Soldier, or Guardians which is some of the best films in the genre. At least they know what they are doing, and doing it right *unlike DC cough*.
Also, I'd like to point out cursing doesn't make a film better. It gives the fake illusion of oh boy, it's more adult yay. It's fine in a film, but if you are arguing for, I want them to say bad words, why oh why Disney! Are you serious?
All in all, Disney is in a great state right now. They own two huge studios that have fantastic franchises, and they are doing good work. The majority agrees with this as well. I don't get why people hate on Disney so much. There animated films are at there prime also, with great films like Zootopia, Frozen (oh boy, I said it was great), and Wreck it Ralph. |

| The only reason Iron Man 3 looks so mediocre today is because all of the fantastic movies that came out since then. It was already kind of mediocre but at this point the concept of a standalone Iron Man movie is just...pointless. |

The mass majority think it is mediocre because
*SPOILERS TO FOLLOW FOR IRON MAN 3* Ben Kingsley was not the Mandarin, but an actor. That pissed off so many people. Honestly, I didn't mind it. I am one of the rare ones that love Iron Man 3. I think Guy Ritchie brought a lot to the table. I mean it isn't in my top 5 MCU films, but it's probably 6 or 7.

| No were near top 5, it was interesting that they did that...although I am not a huge Marvel Comics Nerd (more of a movie nerd sue me) but I do know the Mandarin was a very beloved and well known villain. It felt like it had a little too much going on. Tony Starks PTSD, the (not)Mandarin, Extermis, a little kid (who actually wasn't...awful...by shoe horned kids character standards) it was kind of packed. From seeing the trailer and the shot of the sit attacking Pepper I thought either someone would steal the suit or the suit had became sentient (Ultron before Ultron lolz) but honestly maybe a totally new story would have been better instead of mixing two. |

@antoo
Well, you were making a good point up until the last sentence. That just ruined the whole thing.
Us Star Wars geeks, the guys who read a staggering amount of Star Wars books and comics, are very upset over Disney's moronic decision(At least it means the Yuuzhan Vong no longer exist.) The authors and drawers worked hard over all these years to make those and then one idiot company that made one idiot movie(*cough*Frozen) paved over all that. So there are still some hard feelings. |

>"They literally have a monopoly over the comic book industry."
That is such a lie. Marvel's comic book sales have been dramatically low throughout the summer of 2016. They lost big time to DC's Rebirth because Civil War 2 was such an awful reboot on Marvel's part. Hell, Marvel still hasn't knocked DC off of the top comic sellers list. DC's Rebirth has been at the top since May. Where do you get your information from? |

| Sorry, I meant to say comic book movie industry, not comic. I was typing too fast and forgot the word. I think the rest of my argument clearly shows that I forgot the word though, as I was talking strictly on films. |
