They know I'm a college student and need to focus on school, and I have my availability at a maximum of four days (preferably 3).
So they schedule me for five days on a week. I'd sort of understand if it was a holiday or busy week but 3 of the scheduled days for me are dead as hell. Not to mention I am scheduled to 11pm when I have a 5:45am wakeup the next day.
And they wonder why they have employee retention rates so low that they had to raise starting wage by a dollar on entry level jobs... |

@book Well I mean it took me months to get a job at all, and really the only major issue is the scheduling being absolutely stupid.
Plus it's really easy money with how slow work is during the fall/winter season, plus I get paid $13/hr (minimum of 11.25) so yeah. |
