As of September 19, 2016, Daimyo Kiyomizu Okami has moved all inactive members of Serenity Samurai ranked Attendant and higher -- in all divisions -- to the rank of Kazoku. The rank of Kazoku is one of retirement, and a title given to those members who have loyaly served the clan and contributed heavily to it, either through service or development.
Kazoku will have authority similar to that of Attendants when participating in events. While Kazoku are members who have been recognized by the Daimyo, they will still operate below rank 6, as members at this rank are in retirement from the clan, but still a part of it. Kazoku are still welcome to participate in clan activities, as well as to come out of retirement at any time.
All Kazoku will remain in their original families as members, but are no longer official members of the Serene Council, and therefore hold no right to vote at Council Meetings.
If you have been moved to Kazoku, and you would like to reclaim your rank, contact Daimyo Okami or myself with a pledge that you will become active. Upon proving that you intend to honor this pledge, you will be brought out of retirement and your original rank may be restored.
If you have additional questions, contact Daimyo Okami or myself.
