When attempting to change it manually or with a script it causes the humanoid to die. No error message is displayed in the output. I know it's still in development and it is restricted to some users but still, I didn't receive an error message saying "insufficient funds".

| I think that the rig type property is supposed to be a display and not a way of changing the actual rig type. |

Well, you are able to change it manually from a dropdown menu in the humanoid property. Try it yourself

| Well you CAN change the rig type manually but that will break the character/NPC |

| Actually, it looks like what's happening is that your humanoid gets removed and all of your joints are broken. Also, I looked it up on the wiki, and it says that the rig type property "Describes whether a character is using the new R15 rig, or the legacy R6 rig." I think it just describes the rig type. |
