the most likely possibility of the world ending; or at that the entire galaxy ending; is that the sun dies out and turn into a black hole. that wouldnt happen for billions of years; or more; so theres nothing to worry about the world physically ending.

From how things look, I feel like humans will end before the world does.

As the Sun grows old, it will expand. As the core runs out of hydrogen and then helium, the core will contract and the outer layers will expand, cool, and become less bright. It will become a red giant star.

After this phase, the outer layers of the Sun will continue to expand. As this happens, the core will contract; the helium atoms in the core will fuse together, forming carbon atoms and releasing energy. The core will then be stable since the carbon atoms are not further compressible.

The star is now a white dwarf, a stable star with no nuclear fuel. It radiates its left-over heat for billions of years. When its heat is all dispersed, it will be a cold, dark black dwarf - essentially a dead star (perhaps replete with diamonds, highly compressed carbon).

"As the Sun grows old, it will expand."

that could mean the end of the world will be a slow process rather than an instantaneous event of the sun degrading into a black hole, so i guess you could worry that over time the sun will grow so big that it will disintegrate earth, or at least wipe out all existence of life.

but thats why were getting ready to move to mars in case of this event.

As much as people think Jupiter might become a star in the future, it very false. Yeah Jupiter like other gas giants they produce their own heat, but for Jupiter to become a star in the future is unlikely. Brown dwarf perhaps maybe, but still unlikely. And even if Jupiter did became a brown dwarf there will be little effect on other planets in the Solar System.

Also the Sun isn't the kind of star that can become a black hole.

Besides when the Sun goes red giant we humans will have already colonized a lot of the galaxy by then.

Instead of Jupiter, we can go to Titan.

Why?

1. It has seasons.

2. It has craters, lakes, blah blah blah like Earth.

3. If I'm correct, Titan spins like Earth.

4. Scientists predict that Titan could be the next Earth, due to all the Earth-relative things.

Titan will have right conditions for life to exist when the Sun become red giant in a billion years. But here the thing, everyone fails to realize that in a billion years us humans will be so advanced in technology, that means terraforming planets to become suitable to us will happen by then.

You wouldn't know it happened, it just would
And you would no longer be conscious
So it would not matter at all
