This article is specifically for members of The Tal'mahe'Ra. It can be viewed by others, though you will not be offered a proper lesson.
1: YONIN - The art of infiltration while in plain sight. You are dressed like the population, in order to become the people allowing you to flow between crowds. You may need to take on multiple guises to move freely between crowds. a. Follow people with natural movements without destroying anything.
2: INNIN - The art of infiltration while out of plain view. With innin you are staying in the shadows, not in the area of people at all. Climbing on roof tops, staying in the shadows, staying in the rafters of the house to gather information. In this situation, your goal is to stay out of complete site of everyone. a. If and adversary has discovered that he is being spied upon, all effort to defeat him will then be in vain. IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO NEVER leave a trace when you are spying.
3: CONCEALMENT - The art of concealment; hiding.
4: EVASION - The art of evasion; escape.
5: TIMING - The art of timing movement; between covers, executing a kill, etc.
6: MANIPULATION OF WEAK POINTS - The art of discovering and manipulating the weak points in a fortress or enemy. a. During troubled times it is necessary to be ready to sacrifice everything, even in a dead end situation. The enemy may be blinded by pity or overwhelmed by other feelings, which will grant you the possibility of escape. b. No matter how slim the situation. you should recognize the principal at once and profit from it in order to gain an advantage. c. During the times when people are not cautious or negligent enter their houses and their hearts. d. Examine the enemy/enemy's territory, and adapt to it. e. Study the enemy's deepest depths and learn the most ######## recesses of his heart. Under these circumstances, in order to not behave suspiciously, you must act naturally or in disguise.
7: DISTRACTION - The art of drawing an enemy's focus in a desired direction. This is like the classical method of throwing an object one direction, to distract the enemy as you move the other direction.
8: OBSERVING LIGHT AND SOUND - The art of perceiving light and sound; noticing flickers of movement in the distance, hearing two people engaged in combat on the other side of the map, or hearing footsteps just outside of the door you are about to exit.
9: ERASING LIGHT AND SOUND - The art of removing light and sound from yourself or others so that others may not observe it themselves. a. ONSEI NIN - This is the art of concealing yourself by the method of noise, such as music or the noise of animals such as horses. |
