So, on CodeAcademy I am learning Ruby (I finished my HTML / CSS course, and am working on Sass, JavaScript, and Python as well, but those are side projects for now), and I find it to already be close to Lua's syntax (With the 'end' replacing }.), and I was wondering, how easy is it to jump from Ruby to Lua?
If my understanding is correct, both Ruby and Lua are C derived, with grammatically similar syntax and overall structure (Unlike Python).
The point being: How easy would it be for me to jump from Ruby to Lua, assuming I finish the entirety of the CodeAcademy course (With the exception of the Pro courses)? I'd like to get to the level of Seranok, potentially, within the next 6 years (I'd say that's a reasonable time-frame.). I'm using the Roblox Wikia as a guide, and so far I have the logic of Lua down.
Thanks in advance!

Well, truthfully nothing is. Nothing can teach you the logical mind of a programmer. I like how CodeAcademy teaches you - It gives you the tools & syntax, and plenty of projects. I learn code best through repetition & practice (Which is why I installed a HTML sandbox on my browser).
Regardless, that's past the point. The question needing an answer being: How easy is it to transfer from Ruby to Lua.
