I've been taking time off developing to brainstorm about what games are currently available, and what games aren't usually on the market. So after about a month or two, I came up with this idea.
This game will fall into the 'Adventure' category. It will also be a universal game, meaning there will be multiple servers.
The main objective of the game will be to find artifacts following these ranks: - Common - Uncommon - Rare - Super Rare - Mythical ( Not Sellable )
You can choose to sell these items to earn money, trade them in for exp, or just keep them to increase your standing!
Let's talk about the money aspect of the game. The currency has yet to be named, but we could figure something out. The money you earn from selling items can be used for travelling to new areas e.g. islands, getting to areas faster than having to travel by foot, and getting new items such as shivs and knives, explosives (a maybe) and more.
Now we move on to the standing of the player. Each player will start off with a standing rank of 1, the max being 6 (Due to change at a later date). To increase your rank you'll need to complete 3 different missions depending on how high your rank is. Here's an example: If you were a rank 5 and wanted to increase your rank to a 6, you would have to complete missions such as, find a Mythical Item, Obtain 100,000 gold and Unlock 50 doors.
Next point, Skills. Yes, there will be skill stats, such as Strength, Agility, Mining and Crafting. I mention these 3 because they may be the only skill stats available in the game, though there may be more such as Thieving and Stealth, but I'll leave that for a later date. The Strength stat will be used to do things such as moving boulders, pushing open blocked doors and more. Generally getting into places that you wouldn't normally be able to get into. The Agility stat is much simpler; The higher it is, the faster you run. The mining stat is in its name obviously. The Crafting stat is one of the most important, as it is used to craft keys. Keys will be the most commonly used items in the game, as they will open doors that hold artifacts inside the room. Keys can also be found while adventuring, so if you don't have a high crafting stat, you don't always need to rely on that.
Here's the best and final part: Trading! What will make this game shine will be it's trading system. All items will have a certain score, which I'll just call 'Worth' for now. When trading you can trade your artifacts, keys, and equipment with other players which players can also put their items in the trade tab too. The worth score is what keeps it in check. You will not be able to complete the trade if both player's worth score exceeds the difference of 1,000. This may be subject to change, though. With the trading system, you can always ask another player to give you that item that you really need, but can't get.
Obviously as this is such a big concept, I'm going to need a team. I will not be the team leader, as I like to worth WITH people, not FOR people, and not have people work UNDER me. We will all be the team leaders.

Depends on how well you work.
If you want straight pay, sure. But you'll get less earnings from the game made. |

I do, in fact, have the money for straight pay. But that isn't the intention. The developer team that I'm working with are long term, meaning straight pay would be the worst choice.
The money used will be for promoting the game, through ads and sponsors. This way the game will gain more awareness and getting more visits. The gamepasses added will bring in even more money, meaning that you'll get a better, long term pay overall.
If you didn't notice, a project that hasn't even got any content on it on my profile has gotten over 2,000 visits, 100 favorites, and a like to dislike ratio of nearly 10:1! Just imagine the capabilities of a game released with more content, gamepasses and a much longer play time.
You can still choose to have straight pay, but that is obviously not a good choice. If you have any other problems, allow me to explain why I made it that way. I did mention that I spent a lot of time thinking this over. |

| Any pay is find by me, Earnings IS the best choice considering if you get TONS of revenue. You will probably get more in earnings than straight pay. |

Okay, and what's the problem with that? That means that he made use of a popular search term and this made him some money and got him some visits. That's called clever marketing and there's nothing wrong with it.

-Rare (yellow, a little lighter than gold)
