Lua is a brain dead language, if you want something done, spend some time learning how to script so you can do it yourself.

Lua, in terms of accessibility, in addition to complexity, is not difficult to learn, therefore, virtually anyone could pick it up, and with some practice, create what they wish to create.
By not learning to script, and instead expecting the ever-dwindling amount of devs to do all the work, you're not contributing, and only adding to the noise. |

And while that may be true, most seem to never even bother trying to learn.

I don't get why people say Clan technology is at it's limit, you can still create things with LUA, roblox actually gives you tons of tools to create whatever you want, just look at ro-verse or whatever it has ships and lasers, I really want weapons like from black magic, or maybe something inspired from a show or whatnot.
The only thing holding people back from creating what they want, is roblox's servers |

| Clan technology is miles behind what it could be, however, people wish to complain, instead of learning how to advance it. |

truth is, it is like that with the rest of the world as well
why do you think programmers get paid so much? because people bother to learn it so much?

| Sadly true, I already have an internship with a software company next summer, because the demand is infinitely higher than the supply, and therefore many companies are resorting to scouting campuses in my area. |

agreed.
it took me a week to learn the basic syntax and now i'm working on more advanced things like scripting in FE and working on my gui design.

How do you go about learning lua?
I know nothing about it, or what it does, as embarrassing as it is to admit.

@lady
lua is basically roblox's game engine - you can literally do anything inside the game via a script.
for example;
game.Players.PlayerAdded:connect(function(player) if player.Name == "LadyVengeance" then print("Loser") end end)
