Well I guess that seems odd, since I'm used to seeing a toilet in the same room with the shower and sink. But some nations will commonly have toilets in a separate room, called water closets.

| Also water closets do exist in US as well, just aren't as common as you would see in the UK or Australia. |

| That's not what they are used for lol. For instance someone is taking a shower, therefore having a water closet would be useful, instead of having to wait until someone is finished getting out of the shower to do your business. |

It basically a separate room where it is just a toilet and sink, while the bathroom is basically only has a tub/shower, and sink. Nations commonly use this would be Australia and New Zealand and UK. However if you live in urban area of Australia like for instance Brisbane, you of course will see apartments with bathrooms with shower, sink and toilets in them.
But if you live in rural Australia, water closets are more common and the toilets are separate from the bathroom. |

Well I am sure there would be a cabinet or closet within those bathrooms for storing towels, medicine, makeup, grooming items, etc. |
