It's one specific teacher tbh. He also said "We don't know why humans die, so this proves God exists"
Also he brought up a debate about race in the United States and crime and I said 13% of the population is black and he basically told me that's a load of crap and it's more like 5% and the whole class agrees simply because he's the teacher when anyone can make a quick census search and prove that it's 12.7%. The dude has a superiority complex like none other. |

| Also, he claims he's not a Christian (because he wasn't introduced to the religion a natural way, but because he was on a #### binge and God came to him in a vision and that's why he cleaned up his act) and instead calls himself "An Ambassador of God". |

| I personally don't like religion. Religion and science collide and I'd rather trust modern science rather than a scripture that was written by men over decades of years. |

Noah's Ark, Adam and Eve,
Adam and eve is a more basic one. I believe the bible constitutes the emergence of females by removing one of Adam's limbs to form her. Even if that's true why are there people of different color? (Adam and Eve are white?)
Noah's Ark. Not in the fossil record. And a ship of that scale and caliber can't be built..especially by a small family. Secondly, animals of that ship will be hungry and can't be fed adequately by a small family..."Every animal on Earth".
All in all, the bible is a bunch of tall tales with no proper evidence. |

.........melanin. it's because of melanin. you yourself can drastically change your skin color by sun exposure.
"Not in the fossil record."
well when the water and mud underflow would grind your bone to a powder over time, on top of the fact that less just the broad selection of mammal fossils are so rare to find (less than 1% of all fossils), i wouldn't doubt we haven't found anything yet. that certainly doesn't constitute that the flood never happened.
"And a ship of that scale and caliber can't be built..especially by a small family."
allow me to break down the math. the bible explains the size of the ark - 450 feet long, 75 feet wide, and 45 feet high, assuming a cubit of 18" (6:15). we also know that the Ark had three decks (6:16). thus the overall volume of the Ark was (450 x 75 x 45 =)
1.52 x 106 ft cubed
nut a structure consists mostly of open space. most houses are over 95% open, less for large ships. worst case scenario, assume that 20% of the Ark's volume was worked lumber that the four men had to gather, transport to the construction site, do the necessary shaping and install.
(1.52 x 106 x .2) = .304 x 106 ft cubed of wood
now in the beginning of construction they were inexperienced. but over the years, they became experienced carpenters as common sense would show. they certainly wouldve been able to install 15 cubic ft of wood a day, and that's a low estimate.
15 ft x 6 days x 52 wks = 4,680 ft cubed/year
now its easy to see how long it wouldve taken
0.304 x 106 ft3 ------------------ = 65 years 4,680 ft3/year
these estimates assume only the men of the family worked as well. it's certainly doable if someone is faithful enough. |

as for food, hydroponic vegetables can be grown in total darkness on the lowest level of the ark if needed.
i remember seeing a study somewhere a long time ago that calculated about 15% of the ark's volume was used to store dried/concentrated food for the animals, and that water wouldn't need a sophisticated storage system considering how it was raining the whole time. they could just collect them w/ troughs |

| Not empirical evidence but I'll rest my case. No need to argue over something silly while I should be doing homework. |
