The usefulness of Discord is extended, its like Skype but easy to organize and designed to handle large chatrooms. VC is really bad though, if you're looking for extended conversations I would continue to use TS3.
The best thing about Discord Versus TS3 is you can create an administrative action room. Listing reason for demotions, penalties for the person etc. |

Discord's also pretty good if you want to stay in contact with allies and do joint events. It's really accessible, and if everyone used discord it would flow pretty smoothly with communication.
People have been saying voice chat is really bad, but personally I haven't had any issues.

but yeah, just give it a shot and if you dont like it then oh well. i've found it extremely useful when you and your allies use it.
when it launches you connect to every channel that you're associated with automatically, and you can communicate with allies + your own members smoothly

| I have not had any issues with Discord Voice chat, but i have noticed that the Ts3 VC is much more clear and responsive. Please...do not even use skype at all... |

Skype is garbage for anything other than direct comms, group chats are terribly made in it. TS3 and Discord are the only true competitors, and I haven't had any issues with Discord's voice chat, although it really dislikes low bandwidth. |

| You're definitely less likely to get booted or anything of that nature using Discord. |

| With Discord you can make it so that only certain people can send server invites which pretty much gets rid of the alt-making problem. You can also make the invites for like 30 minutes so they'll expire quickly. |
