Other Medicine Cat Things To Know- ~Medicine cat apprentices must travel to the moonstone with their mentors and be accepted by StarClan to be an official Med. cat apprentice. ~Medicine cats are often treated with less hostility than others when in another clan's territory ~Medicine cats may not have kits ~Medicine cats should always know when another cat gets a sign from StarClan ~Only a medicine cat can determine what a sign from StarClan means ~Medicine cats and apprentices travel to the moonstone every half-moon ~Med. cat apprentices can be a medicine cat even before the original is deceased. The mentor will chose when the apprentice is ready Chapter 4: Diseases Green Cough- Gives you a bad fever and a terrible cough. It can only be caught in leaf bare; you can die from it if you get sick enough. Chill- You get a runny nose and a fever. You can catch it from getting wet in cold weather, and you can't die from it. White cough- Gives you a bad cough and fever, it can turn into green cough. It can't kill you. Cats Eye- Makes eye crust over; can cause blindness. Bug Ears- Bugs crawl around in ear, making it itch and ooze. (Ear mites.) Rabies- Gives you a fever, foamy mouth, and dizziness. There is no cure for it, and if you get it you will die. You can only get it from another animal that has it or getting infected in a cut. Death disease- It gives you severe pain in every area, and will eventually kill you. You get it from ticks and mosquitoes. (Lyme disease.) White Paw - Your paw pads turn white, and give off severe pain if you walk on them. You get it in leafbare when your paws are cold for a long period of time. (Frostbite.) Scarlet fever- You get a severe fever. Can only be received by kits in leafbare, from being cold. Neetle- You get a high fever and you throw up a lot. You can get it any time of the year, there is no known cause for it. Black Cough- The deadliest form of the 'Coughs'. If you catch it, you are most likely to die. Comes right after Green Cough. Can kill if not treated soon enough. |

Warriors Glossary Apprentices: A cat of six moons or older, in training to become a warrior. Name always ends in paw. Crow-Food: Rotting food. Deputies: Like a secondary leader to the clan—a warrior with specia privileges that is higher than all cats except for his leader and medicine cats. Elders: Warriors that have retired as a result of a disability or old age. Fox Dung: An insult; stronger offense than mousebrain. Fr###########ecently killed prey. Gatherings: A meeting that the Clans hold together in peace every full moon. Greencough: A severe chest infection that can be fatal to elders and young kits. Greenleaf: Summer.
