Hello. My name is Hayden, and I am Canadian though my name says otherwise.
I am also the founder of Powerful Studios. We are working on a project called Aftermath. Or atleast that's the current name. Other names are being thought of at this moment.
Aftermath is an apocalyptic game with similarities to Apocalypse Rising, and Fallout. But that doesn't mean we want to make a copy. We want our game to be original.
One of our main goals is providing a good story behind a game with very little opportunity for it. Because this will be a survival game where you can fight or team with other players, there can't really be cutscenes or anything like that. So instead, my idea is to create messages on walls, create stories with the surroundings but no text, and have a dedicated lore page on a subreddit or maybe the forum.
We also want to provide amazing gameplay that isn't too hard, nor easy. Instead of the generic zombies, this setting takes place in a future after World War III, that lasted 20 years +. The aftermath was nuclear devastation. There are barely any survivors, and they have to fight hard for what's left. Gameplay will include scavenging for food and drink, weapons and ammo, building supplies, meds, and more.
Also one of the challenges in this game is light. Years after the war ended, most power has been cut, and many things have broken down. Cities have sunk into the ground and survivor built fortifications have been popping up. Fortifying is going to be a key aspect in the game, because without shelter you are left out in the dark at the mercy of other survivors and mutants.
Team-based gameplay is important to us, we want you to be able to choose your style, whether you love huge teams or you want to work solo, we will allow both. I myself think team gameplay is a great addition to games like these, and can provide a huge boost when scavenging and fortifying. And c'mon, who doesn't like performing drive-by's with your best bud and then fortifying an area to camp out at?
One thing we are taking very seriously is the NPC threats. Instead of zombies, the radiation has created many mutations of animals, creating monsters. These vary in kinds, and all have different abilities and weaknesses. That means you never know what type of threat is going to pop out around the corner.
Currently the map is closed at a paid access point of 750 robux, don't buy it, I doubt you would but gotta be safe. I will show you the map if your interested in seeing it so far (Nothing in it is final AT ALL). The map will be large, but not too big. Vehicles will be part of the game, but rare. It ruins the point if everyone seems to be able to find a vehicle. There will also be many secret areas unmarked on maps to explore inside the map.
Last part I'd like to talk about is collectibles. Almost no Roblox game's properly take advantage of it, and we want to. You will collect "Travel Brochures". These can be opened up and looked through on the game menu, and can be found with a low chance all over the map. Unlocking all the travel brochures will possibly unlock something, but I'm not sure what yet.
If you want to become a part of this project, reply to the post. We are looking for scripters and experienced gun developers. GFX, maybe. Reply if you can do any of these 3 things.

| Yes there will be pay, but don't expect enough to buy yourself a dominus or anything. I don't like flat rates. Your quality of work matters, so the better you do the more I can pay. Also if you script the game you get a % of profits, long as you can join the group and stay in it. What building, cause I only need weapons, I can build the rest. |

| @BloodRozen I know. Because it has many similar aspects to other games I have to add new original aspects. What Roblox shooter have you seen with well done story behind it? None. Apoc has the closest but nothing to brag about. So that's new. |
