one created a standard for group places that pretty much makes every clan that doesn't have robux irrelevant because you know joining groups is the 1 of the very few free things you can do on this website so we have to make it a business
one created a standard for combat which caused forts to become quite unfair because apparently if people win at your fort that makes you a BAD group or something |

the first point not every group can have loyal developers like FEAR so they have to hire developers and clans with low tier building/tech are pretty much deemed irrelevant |

I'm semi-independent and responsible for simplistic designs, but I still agree with this.
Every single developer is better than me at something, but why can't people settle on a simple, lightweight, realistic weapon? |

Well I'm an independent developer (alongside 2 other people for my group) and what you're saying is absolutely false.
Not every developer who was once independent is toxic. And your points don't even correlate to one another.
Some independent devs are good, and some are bad. What matters is that they're trying to make something good for their group, so you throwing shade at people like me is just wrong.
Try developing by yourself and see how hard it is, much less managing a team of devs.

And of course they are going to be people proving this guy false, but that's when happens when you make a generalisation. Unfortunately saying "not all but some independent builders" doesn't have quite the same impact. |

to be fair most clan developers arent that great and have more bark than bite
to an extent, i agree with OP, in that a good portion of independent developers aint that great who hype themselves up

to everyone that thinks this thread is about developers being bad that is WRONG. it is about good developers being a REQUIREMENT for clans now and how developers that aren't loyal to a group have created a huge barrier to entry in clans. the fact that you think this is about developing skills just shows how toxic and defensive you are after multiple people criticized my developing skills for no reason. my first place on my profile is a copied fort from 2011 >.>

being an independent developer is toxic. i'm not referring to toxic like you guys forum on LMAD or OT (even though some of you do but i don't care and that's not the point). i'm referring to toxic as in if your group does not not have a developer or the funds to hire one then you are treated as irrelevant and very few people will raid/war you |

how could they raid you? if you don't have a base, a training place for trainings, a rally place for rally's, TS3 or discord for communication and are inactive, you're OBVIOUSLY irrelevant.
