(It finally happened, I had to get this out of my head.)
Welcome to Upton, the city of progress, advancement, and industry. This is what you call as an alternate universe version of Neo Arcida. In here, the Roleplayers Association never existed, and their founder is now the mayor. Different kinds of people live here, from average humans to aliens. This is a futuristic city you guys are going to live. But then, something happened.
A young man has questioned himself if there are many universes aside from this, which has lead him to create an inter-dimensional gateway called the "Realm Gate", which allows him to travel to different universes. One day, he was taking his lunch at his favorite restaurant when he heard an explosion. As he got of the restaurant, he saw the city being plagued by a swarm of creatures called the "Negatives". The man fought these creatures, but they're so many to kill.
Eventually, the man stopped fighting and he ran towards the source of the explosion. It turns out that someone has jammed the Realm Gate which causes these Negatives to break out. While he was investigating, an army of Negatives broke into his house. As he is being outnumbered, a group of people suddenly arrived, and one of them is you. This group of people started shouting various name which suddenly comes forth. These group of people are actually summoners.
The man was surprised and those who have been summoned began to fight the hording Negatives until all is cleared out. The man sensed the potential in these people and he knew that these people is what the universes needed. You, summoner, are going to help this man go through different universes and saving them from these Negative threats. Who is this man?
Its Jared Williams! I'm the one who created the Realm Gate and now I'm employing these group of people to help me save the universes or else something worst that could happen.
+How Summoning Works+ In order to summon someone, just call out their name and they will instantly appear before you. People that are summoned are called Units. They are both your weapons and your friends. Throughout the RP, I will be the one who will decide what unit will you receive, based on your preferred roles, sometimes I might give you a unit that doesn't meet your preference.
+Battle System+ -Preparation Phase In this phase, you are to decide which unit will you summon. Only one unit per summoner. -Battle Phase The battle will rely on a turn-based system. It will always start with you guys, and then the enemies. Your units are free to come up with any attack, but must have a target. As for the stats, buffs can only last for two turns. I will mostly do the outcomes of your actions. One action at a time. In an event where your unit has been defeated, you have two options; summon another of your units or withdraw. -Conditions Sometimes there will be specific conditions that will be shown during the Preparation Phase. For example, there will be a condition that units that have the primary role of Tank are not allowed to participate. This is a rare case, and if this condition has been met, the amount of EXP will have an additional bonus.
+Special Support+ This not-so-special mechanic is where I will jump into the battle and help you guys out. Every five turns, you will be notified that you are now allowed to call on Special Support, but, I'm gonna need to take control of your unit. This is something of a combination attack that deals double the damage. Also, I'm not the only one who is always going to do such, there are other characters who can perform the same feat.
+Unit Roles+ Every unit has a role, which benefits your playstyle and tells how well your unit/s fight. There is a primary role and a secondary role. There are six roles; -Tank These units have high amounts of DEF and HP and has a greater chance to perform Critical Damage, however, they have little ATK, SPD, and a decent amount of INT. -Fighter They are the most balanced out of the rest, have the same and fair amounts of ATK, DEF, and SPD, but has little INT and a decent amount of HP. These guys are usually melee-based and has a high chance to perform Burst Damage. -Assassin They're the fastest among the rest, having high amounts of SPD and a little bit of INT. They are known for quickly killing off an enemy even with a little amount of ATK, DEF, and HP, as well as having the highest dodge rate. -Mage These guys rely more on their magical abilities, hence having a high amount of INT. Their ATK, DEF, and HP are fairly decent, but their SPD is very low, but not as low as the Tanks. -Support These guys are known to heal units, give them buffs, and remove them from their status ailments. Although very weakk due to the low amounts of ATK, DEF, HP, and SPD, their INT are high and they are very useful. -Marksman These are range-based units with a high amount of SPD and ATK. Although they cover a large distance, they have low DEF, HP, and a decent amount of INT.
+Leveling Up And Stats+ Of course, what is an RPG when you don't have a leveling sytem and status? After every battle, your units will gain EXP to level up. If your unit participates in the battle, he/she/it will gain a normal amount of EXP, whereas the rest of your units will also gain EXP, but little the amount. Every unit has their own stats. It varies a lot. Here are the parameters that your unit/s have; -HP This is their life bar. This tells how much damage your unit/s will sustain before they get knocked out. -ATK This tells how much damage your unit/s can deliver. There are also two special types of attack damage; Critical Damage (or CD) and Burst Damage (or BD). CD is just doubling up the normal damage your unit/s deliver while BD is tripiling the damage, but has lower chances. -DEF This tells how low the damage will receive from the enemies. If the DEF is low, your unit/s will receive higher the damage, but if the DEF is high, the damage received will be lowered. -SPD This tells how fast your unit/s can dodge attacks and avoid obstacles. In other terms, this also refers to your unit/s bodily senses and instinct. -INT This tells how powerful your unit/s abilities are, like how much health should an injured unit will have, how high the buffs will be like, and how successful will you land your attacks.
+The Negatives+ The main enemies that your units are going to face. They are creatures that were rejected characters that has been mutated by negative emotions, usually the feeling of rejection from their creators. They appear after someone jams the Realm Gate through unknown means, which will be revealed later on.This also goes to their appearances and their nature.
+Rules+ 1. Have a decent amount of common sense. Keep it civilized. 2. Keep this RP around PG-13. 3. No powerplaying, metagaming, godmodding, etc. 4. Have fun my pretties!
+Sign-Ups+ Due to the limited thread size, here is the link to the sign-ups: https://forum.roblox.com/Forum/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=197304565 |

(I'm a little more than confused here. Sooo... 1. This a crossover? 2. So, do you build your own Unit? Or are you given one? 3. Summoners... They don't participate in the battle? 4. You make up the Unit's stats, or do we? 5. During Free Time... It's just a normal RP, I'm guessing? 6. Will you go through universes already made by franchises? For example, CoD or Battlefield- just the two that popped into my mind- can be visited? 7. Will there be "NPC" teammates throughout the universes? Say, you could meet Soap in a CoD universe, just to keep the random examples up?) |

(To answer your questions... 1.Yes, since we are "crossing over" different universes. 2.In the sign-ups, you are given one chance to make your own unit and for the rest of the RP, I'll be the one to give you. 3.Yes, they don't participate. 4.You in the sign-ups and the rest is on me. 5.Yes. 6.Yes. 7.No, you guys are on your own since there is a Special Support mechanic.) |

| (Sooo... We can create our original- erm, crossover characters as a unit? But how will that work? We start with one Unit character, and gain... More? As we go on?) |

| (Yes, just create your own whatever you desire. We all start with one unit and gain more as we progress.) |

| (Aye. Are the Units brain-dead? Are they independent of you? And do they only reappear when you summon them, and vanish when you tell them to return? And can they eventually become their own Summoners?) |

| (Faction, you wouldn't say to your own units. They have mind sets you know? They are fully at your control, they have feelings to. Yes, they are independent and yes, they do reappear when you summon them, but in battles, they don't. They also vanish when you tell them to return and no, they cannot be summoners since you've SUMMONED them.) |

| (Got more questions: Lore-wise, how do the Units appear? And how do we "gain" them? Do we meet them as free people, and there's some sort of magic trick that turns them into our mini-slaves? And could we ever turn them into non-Units, free from us trying to summon them?) |

| (They appear as a circle of light on the ground, and when it stretches up, poof! They appear. Probably the only way to gain them is thru befriending them and yes, they will be free people at the start. There is no tricks, just gain their trust. Lastly, it depends.) |

| (Hmm... could there be custom Unit entrances? I want Alpha to show up by Metal throwing an Electroflare, then a Skyranger flies over and Alpha drives out, crashing on the ground.) |
