1. It's his freedom of Speech, he doesn't have to stand.
2. America is the greatest country in the world. Sure, we have our problems, but what does sitting during the national anthem do about it? It "spreads awareness" but actually does absolutely nothing.
3. He's only doing this because he got benched for Blaine Gabbert. If not, why didn't he do this in the superbowl? Why didn't he do this in 2014 and 2015?

| Sure he can make a stand against racism/whatnot, but not standing for the national anthem is disrespectful against every US citizen and the entire United States, it's made me lose all respect for him honestly. |

who cares? why does that concern you? last time I checked, this isn't a communist state that sends someone to imprison you and sentence 15 years of hard labor for not standing up for a flag |

i believe he doesn't really care about the race issue, and he just did this to get attention as he has pretty much lost the starting QB job.
he stood up for both pre-season games before last week, and all of last season where there were a multitude of large media cases between blacks and the police force. |

first off it's preseason, second off people have died so he can have his privilege and get paid millions of dollars and he wont stand up for his country.

him standing isnt really going to do anything besides just give him backlash
if he really wanted to do something instead of buying 10,000 pairs of shoes he should actually do something to help the community

Why does it concern me? This guy opened a forum post of our opinion on Kaepernick not standing. That's my opinion. I don't care that much at all. I'm just saying that's what my opinion is. You're so defensive. |

2. definitely not
3. the BLM movement didn't really "take off" like it has this year
with that said, i definitely think he should take a different approach to this, instead of bringing all the attention to himself

| instead of brining the attention to himself, he should join in on a peaceful protest or donate some money to a cause to stop the problems the nation has |
