He took a country that was poor, had social unrest, had lack of jobs, lack education, lack of industrialization, and turned it into a secondary global power. Not seeing much wrong tbh fam xdddddddddd

his people ended up turning against him, that's the best part
I honestly don't care what sort of government rules over us as long as I can do whatever I want and our country isn't caught up in a war every day.

Italy literally depended on the Germans to keep them going, whatever sort of war they had going on was pathetic. Their Officers were fussy about where they slept, they shot down the planes of their own commanding officers and I even known that General "Electric Beard" Berganzoli's Army ended up driving around in circles in a desert and surrendered like cowards. The Italians were weak, the only thing that kept them up was their actually decent National Socialist ally, Germany.

Italy depended on Germany in the war efforts because Germany forced them to enter the war even though they were just stabilizing as a country and years away from having a strong enough military to compete with the great powers. Simple tbh

More like, Italy thought they knew when they saw a winner and joined on Germany's side?

Italy entered an alliance with the strongest country they had relations with. Isn't that shocking.

| Italy partially allied Germany because they saw Germany taking over France and wanted that sweet sweet spoils of war negotiating with the french leaders. |

Fascism as an idea, was wonderful.
But in reality, it took away all freedoms.
Put one sole dictator in charge of a country (Which never works out well)
And then they believe they are a dominant race, and all others deserve death. |

It's the same story over and over with Facscism, Communism, National Socialism... ESPECIALLY Communism. Millions die, dictatorship, freedom is taken away. Never mind the "advancements" made, there is nothing more important than human freedom.

I actually can't name a single time where Fascism resulted in millions dying and freedom being taken away from citizens tbh. And IMO, there's nothing more important than the success of the country. As without wealth and power of the country, there is no human freedom.

| There is no 'best form of government'. Even democracies and republics are flawed. Fascism is not the best form of government and it does not allow the people the right to choose their own destiny. |

Fascism is a bad form of government due to one simple phrase: "Power corrupts, absolute power corrupts absolutely" - Baron Acton A system that allows for a totalitarian dictator is inherently flawed, in my book. |

Wealth and power corrupts the human mind. It leads to suffering, anger and resentment. People are ready to sacrifice their freedom for their security. How is the state of the country more important than the state of the people?

The more successful the state is, the more successful the people are. You can't have one without having the other.

Fascism takes away human freedom, as do other extreme ideologies... Of course the people will be successful if they only do what the state allows, which allows the state to remain prosperous. The problem with these types of governments is that they exercise absolute power. They don't want to allow an idea to spread, or they will lose the power they have.
