i need a WORKING animation handler that will work on a Fully jointed human body.
(it is going to be the player model, NOT an NPC)
ive checked everywhere, asked everywhere and no one knows a single thing about animation handlers and custom rigs.
ive made the animations in the ROBLOX animation editor, and now im just waiting on an animation handler so the animations will play on the custom rig.

If somebody asks a question then answer reasonably, linking wiki posts clearly won't help... why? Because the only reason people ask anything here is clearly because they were unable to understand what anything the internet is trying to say (hence the 3rd paragraph), so they put their hopes on their last resort... the ROBLOX forums.
If you need more explanation on the details, then simply send him a PM just like he states in the last sentence.
I will try to help and create an animation handler for you, but for anyone that misunderstands the meaning of an animation handler then think again. It's basically exactly what it says it is, an animation handler. It handles the animations for you, like triggering a walking animation when you walk or triggering the idle animation for when you stand, or the sit, or the run, and so on... Just like Sle7en asked, he wants help, at least guidance on how to create a script that would handle these animations. If you want to joke around and have a laugh, then simply move to another forum. Preferably the off topic one. |

Animations are easy lol, I don't understand why you need some sort of godlike professional? just find someone with a lot of patience who can do regular animations
I myself would get bored after an hour of working for you, but I know a guy who's good with default character animations, his username is MikeWittmann
The only custom rig animation I've done for someone was a Tokyo Ghoul animation, and I animated the blood tails (whatever the weebs call it)
If you get desperate I'll do it but don't expect it to be done in 10 minutes

oh you misunderstood my post lol, i already have made the animations myself, what i need now is for a scripter to make an animation handler script, so the animations i made can work on my custom character rig.

I have a custom Character rig, but when i spawn in as the custom rig, i just slide around, and no walking animation plays. since no animations are linked.
so pretty much i need a script that will play the walking animation when i walk.

its taken directly from the ROBLOX Animations Wiki page, it just finds the character humanoid and loads an animation. so its like 3 lines of code lmao

Hm, would you mind invited me to team create? if not then tell me what the output is saying, if it's not saying anything then maybe your animation is broken, I'm not entirely sure of what you mean when you say the character slides

you can still move around when you spawn, but since there are no animations linked to the rig, and no animations that are playing, your character just slides around.

rigging is super easy the way i rig is organizing body parts into models with pivots and running my own rigger to joint them |

Ok please, guys.... listen....
Mr. Sle7en over here is not an expert programmer so he is asking somebody to help him. He specifically states that he needs an animation "Handler". Not animations, not how to rig. But how to connect his already made animations, with his already made rig that has motors and joints already connected (thus being able to create animations), and all he needs to make now is an animation handler that plays the animations on top of the rig that is already working in the game, except its dead and gliding around like the oldest model of the ROBLOXIAN models (that's why ROBLOX connected animations to those, do you get where I'm coming from?)
If you do not have an answer, but would like to help him then leave a simple bump so the post can stay in the front page of this topic.
